Eckert, Francis, Birky coming to TCS Summernationals!

so all you have to do is purchase a mountain dew and they give you a ticket to the race?

As seen in the Hit-N-Run newspaper advertisement:

"Get a coupon good for a free child's admission. Valid with the purchase of an adult admission. Free coupon with the purchase of any Pepsi product fridgemate 12 pack."

Think about it this way- an adult general admission ticket is $22. Your kid gets in free. That works out to just $11 per ticket, the cheapest on the Summernationals tour!

i'm not saying it's a bad deal. In fact, it's a very nice deal. I just don't plan on taking a kid to this show. Unless my 21 y.o. brother can pass as a kid. ;)

MARS is off this weekend so maybe Floyd, Phillips, and some of those guys will venture to TCS as well.

The WoO are not scheduled to run again until July 16th, so ANY of those guys could possibly show up at TCS Sunday, not just Ekert, Birky, Moyer, ect. Plus, The WoO are scheduled to be at TCS August the 1st. Might see some others that havn't raced there in a while for a little practice.

I kinda thought that this would be an excellent time for them to get some practice for the WoO points race. Sure hope to see a big field of cars and clear skies!!!!

So are you saying that it will cost me $22.00 for my 2 1/2 year old? All tickets no matter the age are $22.00? That is unless I buy a 12 pack of Mountain Dew and then a child's ticket is free with a paid adult ticket?

Sorry Doug...one more question, in your second post on this thread you state that general admission prices are $24.00, are they $24.00 or $22.00 and then are they the same price no matter the age?

Reserved seats in the Top Six rows are $24, General admission seats are $22. I think kids tickets are $10.

Hey Slideways

I just got a reply back from Joyce Moyer stating that Billy will be racing at Farmer City, KLMS, and Tri-City this weekend. Hope that helps!

Which is why I'll be there when the gates open. And with only 1 support class, I should be able to get out of there at a halfway decent time and get home in time to take a shower and get some sleep before having to go to work on Monday.

Just spoke with Bob, and you can add 4 more names to the driver's list: Jimmy Mars, Wendell Wallace, Bill Frye & Terry Phillips.

Remember, if you have a kid, go to Hit-N-Run between now and Sunday, and buy any Pepsi product fridgemate 12 pack, and your kid gets in free when you buy your ticket at regular price. Best deal in town!

Just saw on www.4m.net that Bill Frye will be at Monett for the Show Me Series to sign autographs and race. So Frye won't be there. I really don't think Mars, Francis, or a few of the others will show either.

The one that seems reasonable is Jimmy Mars. Tri-City would basically be a stop on the way home wouldn't it. $10,000 to win on the way home seems like a good deal to me.
