OK, OK, here are the full results from Thursday night's feature race. I didn't post them since none of our guys were in it, but I will from now on if you are reading this.

I talked to Bruce last night after they got back to their hotel room in Winona, MN. None of these guys got any money for this race. The winner is guaranteed a spot in the Saturday night feature race which gives him $1,000 to start, so I guess you could say the winner will get at least $1,000 for his efforts from last night. They also have a non-qualifier race that pays well, too.

Doug Tye will be able to fix up his car for tonight with not too much trouble. He was involved in at least a 10-car crash in his B-Main #5.
Jimmy and Bruce are taking Steve Maisel and Shad somewhere this morning to get Steve's rear end fixed, which should put Steve in a much better mood shortly. The M41 will be able to race tonight.
Jimmy pulled off last night in his B-Main #6 with a rear tire going flat. Not much you can do about that at the time.

Jimmy just called me at 12:30 p.m. They are at the track now. Like I said, they took Steve's rear end to "a guy way out in the "God knows where" country to have it fixed. He got it done." Jimmy says. It took them about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. It was somewhere they were referred to as a place where this guy can fix it. So they got that taken care of and saw some pretty scenery, too. Bruce says it's really pretty up there; Fountain City, WI is just like a little town (much like Elsah, IL) along the river. The racetrack is about 7-8 miles up river from Fountain City.
Jimmy said the Eilers and Doug Tye are taking their trailers back to their hotel to work on stuff there. Jimmy is saving their places at the track. He says they're all parked next to each other or with only a car or two in between them so they are close and can help each other if need be. Evidently Jimmy is leaving his trailer at the track and using his dually to transport people and parts back and forth. What a guy!
Bruce is probably going to cook up some BBQ chicken breasts today as the menu item of the day. He was on a scavenger hunt taking all kinds of stuff out of my kitchen before they left. I'm constantly finding something GONE today.
The dogs are behaving exceptionally well for me. No arguments or battles at all. Boon is a very good house guest! Except when he puts his big head onto my computer keyboard and won't let me type.

Here are some pics from the track's website....no wonder they say to bring your own lawn chairs for the stands. I could get to like that! The 2nd pic is of the track on April 25, 2014. Bruce says it's "dark dirt".

The top eight finishers in the feature have all qualified for Saturday's $20,000 to win feature event. The balance of the field will try again this evening with the top eight finishers locking in Saturday's big one. The rest of the field will take their best qualifying night effort into Saturday's last chance races.
