Kickin action at Mt Vernon tonight

firefighter

I must say I agree with you in all aspects. People need to stop talking so stupid on here about Rodney, let the mans racing speak for him. As far as the bombers go, that was a crock, in my opinion, if you cant handle losing then you have no business racing. Its pretty sad because as long as local people act that way Mt.vernon will never draw more cars. The payout isnt all that great the way it is, and some of the drivers think they are racing a 5K to win, its suppose to be fun. If ya want big bucks, move up and if ya cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen. Congrads to 28, hopefully you come back. Its good to see a close race, and a variety of winners.;)

and you know it will chase some local racers away also....I made up my mind that I wont be racing there when my car is finished....if it wasnt for some of my buddies racing there I wouldnt even be there supporting this crap

Shut up merlin.

You know what merlin? I happen to be one of those steel block drivers. OK I'm not a driver... yet. I am with 2 of them though. We happen to be good friends with the Melvins. You're saying that all steel block drivers and their crews are all Melvin "HATERS". Well I have news for you, we're not. Steel blocks at Mt. Vernon are all clean drivers. Get to know them before you go judging them. If you want to go trying to annoy us and tick us off, be my guest. Just take your whiney-hiney opinion about steel blocks and make your own post so it will be easier to ignore.
Drive with your head not your foot.

You know what I raced a modified down at Mt.Vernon last year and will be back racing there sometime soon this year. Everyone that gets on here and slams the Melvins must not know them very well. Or maybe I do not know them very well. All I know is that last year when we was going down there racing every Saturday night if we parked by the Melvin crews they never said a bad word about anyone I ever heard but alot was said about them adn to them. Any time I ever need help with my car or just to talk about the track Rodney or Bobby one was always willing to help out. Just my 2 cents worth.

Not a fan Nor a Hater
Just a plain Ol' Racer

Before you get your panties in a wad. I believe what i said about the SB class wasn't that they are all haters. and i quote, "I'm talking about the guys in the SB class who... trash the #24 car." So if thats not you then why are you upset.

I don't have to get to know the SB drivers in order to see that there are some that are just plain dirty, my vision is all i need to judge them. The ones i'm talking about look like Ray Charles driving on ice.

Oh and one more thing i believe i'll post where i want to post, this is a free country.

I believe I'll just post my opinion about you and your sorry way of thinking of people. OK? OK! I am well aware that this is a free country. I'm not stupid. You make think I am, but that just goes to show that you think that it's easier to judge a person on one thing that you see automatically. That's just the poor quality of laziness that you seem to have mastered. I just find it very intresting that you can't make your own post or stick to the subject. I don't believe it's right to judge a person by how they race. I'm just curious, who are the 'dirty drivers' at Mt. Vernon?

Good question!

I too would like to know who the alleged "dirty drivers' in the steel block class at Mt. Vernon are. I have been there several times and am not sure I can pin point anyone driver specifically who is a dirty driver. Lots of "RACING" incidents, but hey that's racin!

I believe the thread started as "kickin action at Mt. Vernon" I simply replyed to that by stating how Rodney won in #24 & #27. firefighter was talking about bombers, i was talking about late models and SB. I think i was staying along the lines of the tread. Your comment about me personally, made no sense, and i will say again for all the SB racers to hear, the drivers who intentionally hit or roughup the SB#24, THEY ARE THE HATERS. If your not one of them, then it doesn't apply to you. I think the majority of the SB drivers are good racers, its the minority that i have a problem with, i agree that "rubbins racin" but when you intentionally try to tearup another mans car, thats not racin thats "HATIN".

hey

i justed wanted to hear a other person take on things done there. we are one of the ones getting tour up and i now i am getting tired of it. don't need the attitude just a opinion.

scared (don't think so)

The drivers no who they are, i don't have to throw around names. If it doesn't apply to you then chillout. Thats all i got to say.
"Dirts for farming, asphalts for RACIN"

Mt Vernon

I was at Mt. Vernon last night and I didn't see any "DIRTY DRIVERS". Come on merlin name some names. I understand this is your opinion and you are going to state ONLY what you feel safe stating but come on, I know several of the sbl drivers who would like to know just which ones you are speaking of. Oh and by the way do you visit Mt. vernon on a regular basis.

How would I know if it applies to my drivers if I don't know who your talking about? Just give us the names. I can argue about this forever. Rodney is always to far away to get hit by anyone. I'm at the races every week and watch every steel block race and I am yet to see damage on Rodney's car or any dirty drivers. Last week, he won everything anyway, he always does. Why do you think that it matters? Other cars get hit. Rubbing is racing. Why do you only care about Rodney? I respect Rodney and all other drivers. It's a good idea maybe you should try it. How mant times have you been to Mt. Vernon when Rodney was racing a steel block?
