What do i need to watch scribb?.....That its a known fact and id dare to say most guys on here will agree....that most of the local ump guys dont have the big budgets and do have to run sometimes with less than quality parts!

About bashing nascar, I DO NOT support the return of nascar. It has cost me sponsorship and crew members. Tcs has had a few opportunities to make out big on races where others are rained out, but the extra money keeps people away. The insurance only helps if you are uninsured, or cap out your insurance. It's notr worth the extra $100 to me! Wake-up Tcs. most of your drivers are leaving! including me.

Well..Tom..in my opinion..as well as many..is probably the most talented driver..in this area(sorry John Seets..you are good too!)..and..he has driven ump before..and won. Ask him how old his ump modified chassis is..and most would laugh..he won lotta races with it last year..and the year before-where he didnt win..he was really competitive. I do thin the deal with nascar..and the so called late models are something that needs to be dealt with..and now..because that class is dying and fast. As far as the nascar issue goes..it is great.....if you run up front..and are there to collect the end of the year bonus. Guys like me..who because of time constraints..can only run occasionally...doesnt do much for me..but..i do like the track. And im not knocking nascar either..it is a great organization. Sorry to hear Jordan it cost you what you said..the extra money..especially this day and age..really ads up..to those pit crews..who go just to help out..gets into their pockets bad. Good luck wherever you go Tim.
 
The basic problem I have with UMP is that motor rule. The one that says.......umm, well, there aint one now is there?

Hound, do you think for one minute those stupid "protest another guys car" rules are ever going to be used by anyone? They are not worth the paper they're written on.

The best in the business? Now come on, UMP isnt anywhere close to USAC midgets, XDCS, or WoO. Better think again hound, before you go saying the UMP guys are the best in the business, cause I can think of a whole list of guys who are better than any hot shoe in UMP.

stay at tcs big boy and keep boy this is really good while some of us willbe at the world ,oh by the way youo missed a couple of sanctioning bodies that has run at tcs ,and yes I will make sure and bow down the hallow or is that hollow grounds 1/4 mile east of 270 on 203 and sometime sunday morning and I will make sure and give it a salute I know you guys at tcs just want tobe different ,look at the crowds at any UMP look at the differnt drivers that has showed up at the various varios tracks can tcs say the same
 
I dont think any UMP track had WoO, USAC midgets and AMA flat track this year. I didnt see Tony Stewart anywhere near a UMP track this year. Can any of your UMP shrines claim anything close to that level of racing? Oh, hold on, thats right, they cant cause all they are is UMP. LOL, way to go hound, left yourself wide open for that one.

Oh, and for your information, I dont just go to TCS, in fact, I havent raced there once this year, all my racing has been on UMP tracks. You see, I am not one of the blind devotees to any particular track or sanctioning body, I go to the one that is offering whatever works for me on a particular weekend. I just dont think that TCS is the evil empire, and I dont think UMP is wonderful. Unlike you. And as for your World 100, Eldora, and all that jazz, try Darlington, Bristol, Daytona, you know, the real hallowed grounds of racing. All NASCAR. Not UMP. But I bet UMP wishes it could be NASCAR.

I do not blindly and mindlessly devote my loyalty to TCS or NASCAR, unlike you and your slobbering all over UMP like its God's own little patch in dirt track racing. It aint all that Hound, no matter how much in love you are with it. And as far as your 7 or 8 NASCAR guys showing up, thats a frigging charity night show, it aint part of any touring series, its not anything more than just for fun for those guys. Can you imagine the trouble if any of them got hurt there on that night? So dont tell me thats real racing, cause its just for show, nothing more. They dont come because its some big deal UMP racing event with tons of dough and prestige in it for winning it, they come because its for a good cause. Not a lost cause, like you. None of them would show at all if Ken wasnt involved at the track or didnt invite them personally, get real.

I can't see them dropping Nascar if Seets won the title.
The membership fee doesn't bother us, I know there are debates about that and it is a lot to come up with at once, however in racing money gets spent one way or another.
Don't know what the answer is for upping car count but I hope one is found. We'll be back next year.

I have personally talked with so many drivers...from the track and other tracks that all say the same thing...drop it and we will show!


I mean im not talking about 2 or 3 people.....im talking numbers large enough to bring back a reason to run consi's again!



Im not going to name name's.....the drivers know who they are and a few have already talked about it on here!

I dont blame the one's i know of that i have talked with about not coming out and saying anything at this time,because at the moment they have to much at stake!
