Glad to hear Tom is doing better. I went and saw him in the hospital Saturday and he told me I could drive his car at Belleville and Pevely this weekend so I could get mine ready for Brownstown. What a guy. I just hope he remembers............
 
Yea Jimmy nice try...that was right after I saw you put the Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) mask on him....Tommy was high as a kite!!!
 
Hey Tommy - just tell the Dr's you'll use duct tape to hold them stitches together! Get well soon bud. We'll miss ya but your health's more important!

THANK YOU EVERYONE.......

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. I really appreciate everything. Pretty scary going to bed at 130 in the a.m. and waking up only 3 hours later in pain you can't explain. But by about 1 or so on saturday afternoon i was in surgury getting it removed. I don't remember much of saturday but sunday was pretty bad for me. I never realized that it would hurt as bad as it did. Sorry Jimmy i don't remember you being at the hospital but i am sure you were (you wouldn't lie to me would you Jimmy?)....lol......I won't be racing this friday but i will be there watching.....But then again i hope i am not there watching either. I am kinda doing the rain dance all week so sorry to all you other guys but the races will be rained out on friday.....hahahahaha.....i am only 9 points outta 3rd so i can't afford a missed night but if i have to i will......thanks though to every one that came up there to see me and bring gifts.....And Special thanks to randy tyson for unloading the race car and taking care of all that for me....I appreciate it cause i don't see myself climbing in an out of that car for a little while. My main Thanks go out to Amy though. Thanks soooo much for staying there with me the whole time..... I really appreciated everything you did for me and you mean the world to me. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world....(Not even for a late model.......lmao:D :D ) Well once again thanks to everyone and i am really glad to be home again. I will be taking it easy all week but i gaurentee i will be at the tracks this weekend hobbling around. And if we do race at Belleville this friday Jason Worley will be driving my car. Thanks Jason!!!! (COME ON RAIN.....LOL.....:D :D ) Well i can't say thanks enough but i gotta bring it to a end. Thanks alot everyone and we will see you all back at the track sooner or later.

I heard the nurses at St. E's are throwing a party now that you have been sprung. I also undersand that you are not the one they are happy to see leave, I wonder who that might have been. LOL I love you daughter.

Tom, I hope you feel better soon. I really enjoy racing with you, and I know you're anxious to get back behind the wheel, but take it from someone who knows. Don't rush things. Trust me, it's not worth it. You've got a lot of racing ahead of you so take care of yourself now. Good luck, and get back to the track soon!!!!!

I did not read this until now and thought at first that it was another dumb, worthless posts.
Sorry to hear about the health problems. Forget the racing and let time get you better. One or two nights off racing will be a good thing for you considering what you just went though.
I wish you a good and speedy recovery.
