Regardless of your political conviction you will all be served by listening to Glenn Beck's keynote speech at the CPAC convention.

America is in trouble. Both parties,while in control spent too much and are contining to do so. We need to cut spending and taxes to get us out of this. Even if there is any chance of us correcting this situation it will take a long long time.

BTW Beck predicted this over 5 years ago!

On 2/1/10-- When pressed about the charge that Beck is just patronizing the hard core right wing, he said: Hey, this is a free enterprise society whats wrong with a guy finding a way to make a buck off of them.

The only thing you are right about is congress makes the laws and approves the spending of money and this economy and the 8 trillion dollar debt is the result of a Rebublican Congress.

Did you take the earned income credit or the make work pay credit on your tax return, if you didn't your a fool and if you did you just accepted some of that gov't cheese.

See, they have created by their unrelenting assault on labor unions and creating laws that make it more profitable for business to locate off shore a way for business to pay you lower wages so that business can make more profits and in return stick the gov't with having to provide you with just enough money to keep you afloat.

I log on here to see a thread about a race, only to see that discussion turn into a political rant. If I didn't know better, I'd think this was 4m.net LOL

Getting back on topic, given that they're running eight classes, I still think Allied should consider some sort of time limit for the races (and all the more so should this turn out to be one of those 45-50 degree "Carhart" races.) Even if they don't want to impose a time limit, perhaps place a limit on the number of yellows allowed (not including cautions for jumped starts or debris) before going to a "green-white-checker" finish. You hate to have to do this, but no one wants to sit thru several 20 minute heat and B-main races if it's freezing cold.

Also to add to that, I wouldn't mind practice starting around noon. Give guys time to shake down their cars and put em up before the sun goes done and gets cold if they want, or goto work that night, in my case...........:D
 
to me it does not matter how cold it is I do understand about the cars though but from a diehard race fans point of view I WANT A LOT OF RACING I WILL DRESS ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER SO BRING EM ON!!!!!!!:cool:

THURSDAY, MARCH 18th - UMP DIRTcar Roundup Practice! - The Party in Pevely kicks off with a practice session on Thursday, March 18th from 5pm - 10pm. Registrations and inspections will begin at 3pm! Pit admission for Thursday's practice is $20 with free grandstand admission.

FRIDAY, MARCH 19th - UMP DIRTcar Roundup! - Registrations begin at 2pm and inspections start at 3pm. The racing action will kick off at 7pm. Friday's action will include all heat race action along with any D & E Mains that are necessary for all 8 UMP DIRTcar divisions. Pit admission for Friday will be $30 and grandstand admission will be $20. Kids 12 and under are free in the grandstands.

SATURDAY, MARCH 20th - UMP DIRTcar Roundup! - Registrations begin at noon and inspections start at 1pm. Racing will start at 6pm. Saturday's action will include all C & B Mains along with the A Main Events for all 8 UMP DIRTcar divisions. Pit admission for Saturday will be $30 and grandstand admission will be $25. Kids 12 and under are free in the grandstands.
