They don't have a problem in the area where USRA rules are. They learned that they can get durability with those parts if you don't try to get too much lift from the cam within those rules. And they are REALLY close on speed.
Dave, I beg to differ with your observation of no difference between stock rockers and roller rockers.
I've done this test by using each type of rocker on the same engine.
If you turn them both over with a torque wrench there is a big difference in the torque needed to turn the stock rockers over.
I wish I had saved all my notes, but it wasn't an insignificant amount of extra torque for the stock rockers.
Not quite on the same subject, but try the same thing with roller lifters and you'll never run flat tappet again!!!
When we did the roller lifter test it wasn't quite the same because I didn't switch cams, just used similar engines for the tests.

I'm assuming they're staying with their current rules. They had one of, if not these best car counts all year.Ok, if that's true..next question..does anyone know if tri city is changing their rules to ban roller rockers? I like racing on Friday nights.
Dude I don't know who you are and frankly don't care.. But I own and race a car and have since 2009 and have put blood, sweat and tears into it as well as every penny I can come with and last time I checked this is a forum for RACERS to discuss racing topics, this one happens to be about the rules so who the hell are you to get on here and insult me or any other RACER about their input on the situation?? Funny thing is you're on here crying about actual racers having a discussion on a site and topic that was designated to do so! So if you don't like it, check the f out!..and if you want to say anything to me please do so in person next year in the pits before or after the races.Another year and another off season and here is all the crying again about rules for the b-mods once again!! Unbelievable
