Have not heard much about Bloomquist as weather he has filed an injunction against Dirtcar as he had mentioned he would do. Most times injunctions are easy to get. Have wait and see if he races I guess. Like to see him take on Mr. Deery. Doubt if Mr. Deery can be run over like most series...

For all he has accomplished in his career he still remains a rather pathetic person. His dissertation only served as a reminder to me why I quit respecting him a a racer many years ago . (The Hav-Tampa Era).

Back in the day before Baker was Baker engineering he built some mighty stout engines. I believe Jeff Purvis was one who use to run them.

Listened to the web cast last night on racetalklive.com. They mentioned an ambulance on the track but did not know the reason it was there. Perhaps they mentioned later because I just listened to the race events. Hope he is back out soon,and he is OK:)

Bloomquist sets fast time and then is DQ'd. His tires punched a 35 instead of the legal 40. Relagated to the back of his heat he apparently decided to load up and not race until tues.

One of the better mod races I've seen at Peoria. Herman and Billy Tuckwell put on quite an exhibition on how to race. Many laps side by side without touching. Herman finally taking the top spot. That mod will get around the track. Great race.
