This Saturday will be the first time ever USAC Sprints have raced on the highbanks of I-55!! Can't wait to see it.
The only other USAC event ever held at I-55 was back in 1988 when USAC sanctioned late models.
Plus it pays $6000 to win and $600 to start. Hoping for a solid field of cars since...
For all of you complaining about tracks around here charging $35 for a pit pass for the SN even for $5,000 to win shows, go up north..

No matter who's fault we all thought the crash with Herzog & Shereck was, no track flagman should come down on the track and start cussing out and screaming at a driver... Calling him a no good Mother F****** and such..
Not to mention he is probably the worst flagman at any of the area...

I must say that late model feature was pretty sweet tonight at I55... Four and five cars battling for the lead with some 3 wide action. Congrats to all involved for putting on some great racing...
Many drivers talk about the point fund being better at one track over another and so on which I agree some tracks do have better point funds.
Most tracks in the STL area have near the same payout for LM & Mods for the weekly shows..
The one big difference is how many cars start the features...
