06/05/09: Buechting Racing claims 3 of the top 5 Pro-4 finishers at I-55

Crump has no secrets... about ANYTHING!

Just say "hi" to him and he turns it into a 20 minute conversation you weren't really wanting to hear... and that's if you can break away when he takes a breath!

LOL!

Okay Prince(cess) That was uncalled for, I cant help myself it runs in my family. When I talk to you I need to talk so slow and use my hands that it just takes 20 minutues.

You better make sure your receiver is in the hitch of the pace truck so I don't ruin the bumper. :D

No $hit your the charter member.

You have to talk slow and use your hands because you're not used to dealing with intellectual people. You have to think before you talk because we all know you can't do both at the same time! LOL!

As far as the pace vehicle... that 'Yota is no match for a Dodge... I'll just slam it in reverse and drive over that Tokyo tea pot you call a race car!

LOL!

Save me a couple of white stickers by the way...

Free the Fish!

:)Free the Fish! He has talent for sure! I have seen him race at serveral different tracks and also in different cars. Save me a sticker too!

the buechings or bushings whatever!!!

ive been reading this post for 4 days now and i have to put in my 2 cents.2 weeks ago at fred rock the buechings donated $100 for the track, and started up front, imagine that!!! at the rules meeeting they said you spin somone out,you go to the back and the other driver gets his spot back, rule of thumb at the rock.in the feature the bushing girl lead every lap except for the last 3.her and her brother did everthing they could to block the R6 car from passing on the bottom, rubbed him raw!!! our guy the 20B first time driver, passed them all ,the next corner the girl flat took him out!!! drove down the side of him and spun him out.we won the feature that night but since they donated money they gave her2nd spot back, they wanted to get there girl a win BAD!!!!and now this at pevely,i agree with MOONFLOW,they are trying to buy their kids a championship don't try and fix it at the track, its not the other drivers,ITS CALLED MAINTENECE,AND KNOWLEDGE OR A DIRT CAR,SOMETHING THE BUECHINGS DON'T HAVE.KEEP TRYING YOU'LL GET THERE SOMDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! GEORGE "LUMPY GAMEL FREE THE FISH!!!

linexbedliners,

I don't know why you feel you have to bring Fredericktown Raceway into any of this. This is all going on at Pevely. It should stay at Pevely. Period.

I think it's pathetic that you feel you need to take a generous offering for a needy and appreciative food pantry and try to turn it into a "bribe." Shame on you! It was a donation and a challenge for other drivers and cars to match - don't turn it ino anything nasty. We've raised quite a bit of cash and gathered a lot of food for a needy cause and needy people. I'm proud of all we've raised for the Madison County Food Pantry and you're not going to take away from that. Just a question - what have YOU done charity-wise lately?!?

If you like, I'll be happy to dig up the pill draw sheets for that night for all to see.

Just an obvious observation: Since there were only a handful of Pro 4s at the track that night, one of the Buechting cars was going to be somewhere near the front. I mean really, they bring in 5-6 cars, and there are only maybe 8, it's pretty simple.

Please keep Fredericktown Raceway out of this. This has nothing to do with us.

I should have added another thing: if you want to talk about what happened with the spin out - if you had listened to the announcer, you would already know that when the flagman picked up his flags to continue the race, he hit the red light with one of the flags. Some drivers saw it immediately and checked up, some didn't see it so quick. That is why everyone got their places back.

I'll be waiting to look over your application for flagman.

For someone that wants to keep a certain track out of this
post you sure dont act like it,making two replies seems like the direct
opposite!
And for the spin out--it was uncalled for she could have hit the brakes
or turned up track the 20b driver said he never hit the brakes untill after
he was turned around.
Send me an application for flagman!!! I'll be at pevely sat night if you want
to drop it by our pit area!

Someone needs to claim the Buechting cars. I'm sure you could round up some money from other teams and do it. That's poor sportsmanship. Can't beat em' so we'll claim their cars?
NO!!! Thats not poor sportsmanship!!! Its proper subjection to RULES!!! The rules are plain, if they we'rent I would be running a fullblown mini in that class... BUT.... The rules state...stock motor...If it doesnt state factory wiring harness and computer it should... Cause one that has been reworked by Fastchips isnt.....I am only on the first page reading this post, and have already seen severe stupidity, like" thats poor sportsmanship", do you race? If so It cant have been for long. Because you would know that RULES, (theres that word again) are in place for a reason... If someone is in violation they are punished, or they sit out a few nights. The CLAIM RULE: is there to keep people honest, and from putting a ton of money into supposedly "stock cars", Im going to pick on Mark Todd here because I can..and I dont think he will mind.. You have a man who has won championships in higher classes, running a stock class, and doing well.. As he should.. Mark does not own his car, but probably knows every part in it.. It out pulls every other stock Cavalier out there thats not driver skill, thats pure power.. His owner stated. HONESTLY I might add, that certain things have been "modified. Not his exact words... Back to Mark..hes smooth in the corners, knows his way around a track, and can make a car drift. All points to being fast. But stock??? And some of you may be uneducated as to the rules..... thats understandable... They are available on the website... READ THEM.... And ask your self...1.) Did these 4 people not let their cars be claimed because they were in fact NOT legal???? Or did they refuse because, 2.) Was it all the hard work and too many $$$$ they put in their cars, KNOWING IT COULD BE CLAIMED at any time? YOU SEE.. that is a rule... CAUTION... This could happen to you!!! Whether your name is Todd, Fischer, Buechting, or Billy Joe Jim Bob...If you dont like it... be legal, abide by the rules, or move up, and quit ur cryin!!! Jason Brewington, Fredericktown Mo.. P.S. Keep in mind... These comments are not directed at ANYONE except the people whining like 5 year olds, an d they probably arent even the 3 racers themselves, but mere armchair bandits!!

Sonething in all this whiney crybaby mess rings true!!

Ok, let me start by saying that the Pro-4 division is NOT the division I go to see at Pevely. I wouldn't pay $1 to see that class race, but I'm subject to watching it since it is there.
Now, I've been wondering why the three cars claimed were always running AT LEAST 3/4 of a track ahead of the other 36 cars. If you want to run a car and you invest that much money into making it illegal, why not put that money into a car for a different class?
As for the team that claimed you, I don't see them winning either, and as the one post stated, one of their cars was previously owned by one of the claimed drivers. I would say that this team was only helping the rest of the division stay competitive, since this is a low $$ division. Did you ever think that maybe it wasn't just that team that came up with the $$?? Maybe more drivers/teams contributed to the pot. It wouldn't surprise me. I would much rather watch a competitive race than one where 3 or 4 people are not playing by the rules, which is exactly what is happening.
Just an opinion, but I wonder how many people would agree with me?
AGREED!!Very much so

I care about them. I consider them to be just as competitive class as the sportsman and modifieds. Those guys (and girls) are out there racing to win, at times 4 and 5 wide. They provide good entertainment, for me, at least. I don't go to the bathroom or get food during their races.

Depending on how things turn out moneywise, maybe I'll be in one next year!! ;)

I wonder....is a Mazda RX-7 legal (rear drive, less than 4 cylinders.....kinda :p)?
No moonflow... I believe rotories are not legal.. shame tho... I may be wrong.. check and see...

Hey Lumpy I agree with you 100% on fredrock I went there 1 time when Scott Weber and a bunch of other Pevely cars went there, that place is a joke and I won't go back. Farmington isn't much better, save your money and go to I-55 to see real racing( when there isn't a claiming scandal going on ).
