08-09 Blues thread

I was so happy to see them play their style of hockey from the 2nd on. You just can't win when you have a keeper that is on fire. I just hope the nucks go farther and win by more than 1 goal in their games. All of our games were 1 goal losses except for the empty netter.

I don't. Their fans are a bunch of A-holes on other hockey boards. Classless bunch they are. I'm rooting for the Bruins but what the heck, I'm ready to go to the track and can't wait for next year.
 
Well I don't really but my point is if the other teams get beat by more goals it will show how well the Blues actually did and help boost them some more for next year. I really wish Loungo would have left the game and we whipped them up. Going into the playoffs I feel the Blues got the toughest draw in our division. I would have much rather played Detroit or the Sharks. Next to us the Nucks were the hottest team in the Leauge.
 
I said the same thing. Luongo scared me going into the series and I thought we'd be able to beat Osgood/Conklin.

That is what I thought too. But Osgood has a .974 save percentage in the playoffs. I guess he found something.

BTW: Luongo had a .961 save percentage
 
It's kinda funny back in april we were talking about how we got hosed by the refs and here we go again. Last 2 games we lost the refs penalty calling cost us goals again. Saturday night the little twirp was getting his earful.
