Jimmy , you are absoultely right.I told you everything that you had Nick's Mommy post.Just like I told you on the phone,Sean has not give me any money or a checkbook,nor do I have one in my poession.When you call a guy at 12 am,drunk and wanting money,what do you expect them to say?Sean Franklin has been the sole decision maker of the CARS orginazation for the last two years,when it comes to paying money.I have two sons who also raced this year and would like to know where their money is Sean.Could it be that you have spent it all and noe is left?Now you are tucking your tail and passing the buck,or maybe the $ 2000 that you took out and took your vacation on, could that have something to do with it? Could it be that you took money out to pay yourself, or your girlfriend each week, that came out of the points fund money.CARS I Corporation is not the CARS Corporation that everyone belongs to,if you look up the CARS Inc, Tim Herbst & Sean Franlin are the listed agents,and that company has been disloved since the beginning of the season and Sean knew that,so Sean please tell Nick's Mommy where her babies money is.Tell the rest of us who supported CARS all year,where are money is,that you spent all year.CARS driver's there is still some sponsor money coming from Hoosier,once the existing bills are paid,the rest will be distributed to the drivers.

thought i had better provide proof of what i was talking about, so here is the post i remembered reading. it mentions the check sean wrote himself for a vacation for $2,000, along with referance to others written to a girlfriend. i believe when the truth comes out during the course of this suit, alot of people are gonna be really suprised. we will then see who "doesn't have a clue".
 
I am Sorry you are absolutly right! I should of never second guessed your vast knowledge of the CARS series and their financial status. Sean embezzeled ALL of the CARS series point fund including the raffle car tickets, the Hunt with Babb proceeds (Where did this money go anyway?), and all of the hoosier money. Man, I tell you what you should see him living the good life. From what I here he is willing to give up his worldly possessions to make up for his wrong doings. Is this what you want to HERE. :D:D:D
 
None of us know who took the money except those who were directly involved in it. I think all parties involved are to blame for the way things were handled. If things were going down hill all owners/prmoters whatever they are in the series should of stepped up and did everything they could so that the winner ands all the guys that deserved money got it. IF sean was blowing the money and the other owners or partners knew about it, it should have been handled then instead of everyone bailing out. Instead of resigning or pointing fingers or closing down the organization. That could have been done in the off season. Take care of your business until the season is over instead of letting it all go down the toilet and people getting screwed. It will be interesting to hear the facts if we do get the facts when this over and hopefully nick, the heck boys, and the rest of the top ten get their money.

I think this will also make people think about joining a new series in the future. It just leaves a sour taste in peoples mouths and makes the racing community look bad when things like this happen and when partners dont handle things like this correctly.

Nick I'm not completely up on all of this however I seen you run and it is very impressive the way you get your car around the track also if this thing actually goes to court Im sure you could find alot of people for charachter witnesses who have been screwed royally by some of the named individuals without pointing any fingers.. good luck this year if you need anything pm me

I wish Racer 85 would elaborate. If I need to explain something better I will try.

What Nick needs is a copy of the minutes of a meeting (in which a quorum was present) that shows the motion and vote of the board members that authorized the point fund pay-out.

It would be interesting to see what was discussed in these meetings because both AK and RH have posted that they did not approve of a 10,000 first prize.

AK has posted that the records in his possession are open to any CARS member for review. Does any such offer come from Sean?? I believe these records won't be seen until a judge subpoenas them and threatens Sean with "Contempt of Court". Let the lawsuit go on.

Maybe we will learn a bit about corporate law. And maybe Racer85 will clue me in on what I'm missing.
 
we would like to have our money too we finished 7th in points but i do not c that happening and they say they did not approve the 10,000 for the champion then it was posted on here on stl that it was 10,000 to win the championship by sean so why did AL or Rick not get on here and say it was not they r both on here alot more then i and i seen it at the beginning of the year and nether of them would step up and Al was the pres. at that time . when the last race at tri-city when Nick got his picture taken with the10,000 check Al and Rick was both there and nether 1 stepped in there either so why didn't they step in and say something instead they both let it go on all year long. they can't say they didn't know cause they all knew and they should pay all the crate guys something cause the rest of the crate guys that is not involved with the beef with Al Rick Sean ore even the 2007champion Nick what did the rest of us do to get screwed over. and as for Nick cheating i know the last 10 or12 wins he got was with our motor and i know it was legal so call him a cheater with a legal motor then why to go Nick way to cheat . good luckn to all and hope this year is alot better than last

He wasn't singled out. Wasn't it said when the CARS series came about, that if you win a certain many features you would get you motor pulled and teched? Its just when your buddie is the tech guy you have an inside on what is about to go down and can prepare.

I hope the 10 grand doesn't get paid. There was shady sh!t going on, it will be proven in the end! If I was the judge, this lawsuit would be thrown out. Its bull**** just like the post.

All you other crate guys chiming in with your support. You look like just as big of an idiot now as Nick made you look on the track.
 
Question about Car and Hunting Raffle money?

Just wondering What happened with the Car Give Away and Hunting Raffle Money? It was advertised that it was suppose to go into the Drivers Point Fund Money, Correct?

I will make available to any CARS member all the financial records that Rick Heck and I have in our possesion. This will include check copies, bank statements and raffle records. (We do not have the records from the account that Sean Franklin set up on his own towards the end of the year.) Details of the raffle can be verified through Ranee Dearing who oversaw our raffles.

Contrary to this statement Rick Heck and I received only the final Hoosier check which was for $4400. We have letters from Hoosier which will verify such. I will also provide a contact name and number at Hoosier who will verify as well. Out of the $4400 we paid a $3300 bill at Diene chevrolet (motor rebuild parts). Feel free to verify with Diene.

As some of you already know Nick Lyons sued Rick Heck and I. Nothing else can happen until this matter is closed. You can PM me to arrange a time and date to review our records. Rick Heck and i welcome your review.

2x mom has been stirring the doo-doo on here for months. this is just more of the same. somebody should tell that bunch that posting stuff on here does not help their cause when they have pending litigation.
