I did not realize we had so many lawyers on here or legal representatives that know it all.....;)

Maybe they are trying to let other people know this situation and how they were treated.

Anyone ever heard the saying all press is good press. I think if I was in the situation or even in the top ten and didnt get my money I would be preaching to someone..

I GUESS ITS SAFE TO ASSUME YOU HAVEN'T HAD MANY DEALINGS WITH THE LEGAL SYSTEM OUSIDE OF MAYBE A TRAFFIC TICKET???

WHEN YOU PLAY POKER, YOU DON'T LAY OUT ALL YOUR CARDS FOR OTHER PLAYERS TO SEE DO YA'?

NO, I'M NO LAWYER, I HAVE STUDIED CRIMINAL JUSTICE. I THOUGHT IT WAS COMMON KNOWLEDGE NOT TO NOT AIR YOUR CASE IN PUBLIC TO GIVE THE OTHERSIDE TIME TO FIND ALL THE HOLES IN IT. OR TO BE ABLE TO PUNCH HOLES IN IT.

i can guarantee lawyers' for both sides are all over these boards looking for any kind of info, etc., that can be used to further their case. why do you think the 'miranda rights' statement contains the phrase 'you have the right to remain silent; anything you say can and will be used against you?' racefan 12, are you new to to the adult world? have you never heard of anything like this before? no. i am not a lawyer, but i have enough smarts to know what happens in life.

Is Sean offering all his records and reciepts from this whole ordeal?
Is he allowing the CARS people the same opportunity to review all his records? Not stirring the poo but where is his offerings to allow all to see what he has or does not have :( HMMM !!!!!

So why are you so interested in this? Cause you got a forward chassis? or because you dislike the Kreke's? Although it could be neither since I see you stickin your nose in a bunch of different places bsides this mess!

Wow! I was simply stating that some people make references to the criminal justice system when in all actuality they dont really know it. Some may, I too study Criminal Justice I highly doubt a judge would take anything on this board seriously. This is just my opinion, they may, they may not...

I just think some people got screwed, whose fault it is who knows, I not only think Nick should get something all of the top ten deserved something. That is a fact, Whether or not Nick cheated there are still others that deserve what they worked for. There are nine other people who didnt get what they were promised either. Who is responsible for it will be decided, not by us but by the courts. No one can say who is responsible except for those who were directly involved. I am not trying to offend anyone here it is a public forum and opinions I thought were welcomed...

This is an interesting case and will draw a lot off attention in the racing community, who I like, dislike, or purchase has nothing to do with this.

If items posted in print on websites can be used against you in a court of law this should be evidence as well; this was taken off the CARS website before it was From the CARS website, read the third paragraph:

The C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series is proud to announce that the Crate Late Model Division at Mt.Vernon Raceway will once again be sanctioned by the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series for the 2007 season.
Mt.Vernon Raceway was the first track to sign with the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series in 2006 and the support for the class at Mt.Vernon Raceway has been excellent from day one. "Mt.Vernon Raceway management brought the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series in as an additional class last season because they seen there was a need for a budget late model class in our area", said newly named Mt.Vernon Raceway promoter, Brandon Trotter. "We think this class will continue to grow to be one of the biggest classes in dirt track racing. I have talked with several racers about the C.A.R.S. Late Model division and with the number of cars being built for this class we are expecting good car counts with great racing action each and every night this year".

Mt.Vernon Raceway will host a number of "special events" for the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series in addition to the already scheduled weekly racing events. The dates for these events will be announced in early January.

Drivers competing in the Crate Late Model division at Mt.Vernon Raceway will not only compete for track points, but they will also be competing for points towards the C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series Championship. The C.A.R.S. Weekly Racing Series Champion will again receive $10,000 cash as well as other contingency prizes for the 2007 season.

I don't believe midget racer ever said that a judge was going to use these statements. He was merely stating that it would be wise for people to keep things to themselves right now because the lawyers will be reading this to get any other clues as to where they could dig up any other information to harm the defendant/plantiff. As far as the statements from Nick himself, R.H., A.K. or any of the other people involved, those statements could be used against them.

I think that it's best for both sides if everything were to be kept silent until the whole thing is over. The truth will come out in the end. . . well hopefully. . . if our judicial system works. . .

I have got to say these crate threads are very entertaining!!

As to the statements that are put on here they are here say, they are NOT affidavits. Just like me typing this right now is there anyway to verify without a doubt that I'm not using someone else's computer set to automatically log in?
