I'm with ya....seen it all last night..It took place right in front of me in turn 3 & 4 Baumann clearly spun Seymour around whether he deserved it or not is NOT the point when you spin someone out on purpose YOU GO TO the BACK unless of course your name is KLEIN or you are KLEIN'S nephew BAUMANN.....Don't get me wrong here Baumann is a good driver but when you intentionally take someone out YOU SHOULD GO TO THE REAR of the race or get black flagged. Rubbin' is racin' when you are talkin' racing side by side and rubbin' doors and such that's just something even NASCAR deals with......BUT when you spin someone out and NOTHING is done penalty wise to the driver then that's what you call FAVORTISM.........JMO:cool:

ONE YEAR LATER and things are STILL the SAME with ALLIED'S FAVORITE'S

KLEIN hits the wall and it is okay that he spins a car around so he gets to keep his spot......Oh, okay show me in the RULE book where it states you can bounce off of the wall and then hit a car and spin him out and KEEP YOUR SPOT:rolleyes: ...I must have missed the part in the small print...only IF your name is KLEIN or BAUMAN:eek:

That was a pretty cheap shot Don, most people, yes, including you have done things they probely aren't to proud of and people who live in glass houses should not throw rocks.

This discussion is about on track conduct and your responsiability as an AARA official to follow the rules and apply them fairly, not personal attacks about someone's off track conduct.

ya know tommy & amy i can handle the disagreement with calls and all but i dont care for your bashing of the orginization that just not to long ago took pretty good care of you. just remember when you were a little short on funds who came to your aid so you could race and remember who smoothed things over when ya got caught at belle-vegas with that funky bracelet! kept ya from gettin kicked out for the rest of the season maybe even kept ya from gettin arrested! by george i think ya even won a feature one of those nites them allied asses helped ya out! ya even you got treated like a favorite by the good ole boyz club!!!!!!!!!!

you've had a rough season maybe a change will do ya good! adios and best of luck to ya!

Spoken like a true Allied official. Now you wonder why so many people consider you guys smarta**es. Good luck keeping your drivers & fans after this ignorant rant. Oh, by the way, orginization is spelled with an "a", not am "i". O-R-G-A-N-I-Z-A-T-I-O-N
Good day!!

I can and will complain about the association when is cheating involved. First off I won't bash any racer. The 2nd place car took out the first.{sitting in turn 4 seen it all}There was no judgment call here. This call was cheating rule states if you are involved in a caution and make contact, you go to the back. All the drivers and crews did a great job Friday night. {NOT THERE FALT} I have made excuses with friends and other fans at the track trying to support the official. I will not support cheating. Your posts and other Allied officials to this thread says allied does not care. Goodby BeLL-CLAIR. JUST A FAN IN THE STAND!!!!! PS Armygirl
You are right Though this thread was overdo.

Don,

I have to be honest here. You have absolutely know right bring a persons monetary issues to this forum. I am pretty certain that I am not the only person that feels this way. Whatever shred of respect you still had is gone. If you ever get into a monetary issue, please give me a shout so I can publicly humiliate you.

Tommy has not said anything that is untrue about the organization. As I said before... if he is saying something.... then I can guarantee you it's true. The fans have continually seen the type of behavior that is being discouraged in this post, yet Allied continues to pull blatant acts of favortism right in front of them. The least they could do is be a little more modest or secretive about it.

Again... next time you decide to lob a bomb at somebody personally, take a look in the mirror and if you are perfect then by all means lob away.... but I suspect you are not.... so perhaps use a PM next time and keep this kind of post between the two of you. Or for that matter how about respecting Tommy and just don't post BS like this.

Hey Don nice of you to edit your post after realizing you were making a butt out of yourself. And you wonder why people continue to dislike Allied and some of there officials. I seen that quote from your orginal post and wondered where it went, then i realized you editted it. Glad some people quoted your ignorant post before i got back on here. Yeah you guys did take care of me for that one show when funds were tight and i personally Thanked you for the help. Then about the funky bracelet? Maybe Allied and Belle Clair should look into this alittle further b/c i can tell you that this is still an issue with alot of people. Did i not come and give you money the night this was brought up? Yes i did! Maybe change the colors of the wrist bands from week to week and you guys won't have to worry about this issue. For all of you that don't know what people are doing is reusing the same pit passes because they never change the colors of them. So it is just as much Belleville's fault as it is the people doing it. Your orginal post acted as though i committed murder. And also what others said about personal attacks. You are how old Don? Grow up and be a little more mature. You will not look into these problems we all know that. And never once in this post did i personally attack you or any other official of Allied. I spoke of incidents that happened and what i thought of them. Never once did i put in a personal attack on someone. Looks like the true Allied is coming out of you now. Well i don't have the time this morning to keep arguing about this stuff. If i ever had any thought on coming back every once and a while that is now gone. I will sit in the stands and watch some good racing and watch you make a butt out of yourself and be glad that i am no longer supporting AARA.

Tom

I really hope that Don didn't write that post. I'm hoping someone logged in under his name and wrote that. The only reason I say that is because I see that there is slang used. For example...ya, ole, boys. I hope Don doesn't write like that. If not, WOW. That was totally uncalled for and you are giving Allied a worse name by posting comments like that. I didn't understand what he meant by funky bracelet until Tom clarified it. I think Allied needs to worry about other drivers, and what they are doing before hopping into a racecar instead of who's re-using pit passes.

I agree with the original topic of this thread. Don Klein took Burrel out. Weather it was intentional or not, HE DID IT and something should of been done about it.

Sorry to hear that Tom isn't coming back to Belleville. It seems like he has a lot of friends at Belleville. Good luck to you wherever you decide to race at.

off-track vs. on-track

I don't mind if Allied shows a little "favoritism" for off-track situations, like when a regular (someone who pays to get into the track week-in and week-out) is a little short on money and the track covers their pit pass one week...

However, on-track situations ABSOLUTELY NEED TO BE JUDGED FAIRLY AND WITHOUT FAVORITISM. That's the change everyone here is screaming for.

Being that you brought it up Patti about the Slang that was used and so on in Don's orginal post. It mad me mad as i was reading what someone quoted before Don editted his post. I just went back and re read it and it does seem kind of unusual. I can't picture Don speaking some of what the orginal post said but people can express and say things differently also when they are mad. So i won't rule out what you said but i will not rule out that it wasn't orginally posted by him. The only way for us to know the truth will be for him to actually say "yeah i am sorry i did post that when i was mad and i apologize". Otherwise we won't know.

Roadie:
Yes, i do agree with you in a way about the off track favoritism. If a driver has been and is loyal to the track there is nothing wrong with helping them out in times of need so they can come support the track. All that is fine in my eyes as long as it stays off the track and doesn't affect the way they make calls towards you on the track.

Now back to the orginal post by Don saying that AARA took pretty good care of me when funds were short. I went and raced in Farmington one week 2 years ago and caught slack from AARA about me going there and not to Pevely. I can go where i please, when i want to go. Until someone buys my stuff or puts me in a ride and says i want you to go here i will continue to go where i choose. I am not saying that it was from Don that i caught this from so i am not making this about him. Just saying what happened. And as far as them helping out one night with pit passes. Don approached me at Belleville on a friday night and asked if i was going to be running at Pevely the next night. I told him i wasn't sure that if we had a good night and made some money at Belleville then more than likely we would be, but if we had a not so good night probably not since the funds would be tight. Unfortunately other things come before racing......:D .....Then later that night he approached me and said that if me and Amy came to Pevely that he would take care of us for the pit passes just to see him when we got up there. When we got there Don wasn't there yet so we asked Mike K. when Don would be there. He asked why and i told him and he got all bent out of shape over that. So apparently he didn't agree with that situation.

All in all though this thread will not help out anything other than stirring up more about AARA. I seriously doubt that they will take much of what has been said into consideration. Or if they do make changes i am sure that they won't last. Until they can make changes and prove themselves i will continue to dissagree with 90% of there B.S. Sorry that i have went to town in this thread.....:D .....Guess it is just all my built up frustrations will AARA coming out...  ....Once again good luck to all this weekend and the remainder of the year.

Don,
I want to personally thank you for trying to make it look as if we were trying to receive handouts. Nice try, but if you remember correctly that "good Ole boyz club" you speak of (assuming you are the founding member) was the one that OFFERED to pay our admission into Pevely. Funny that would come a week or so after we raced at another track and heard all about how we were "traitors" for doing so, and not supporting our "home" tracks. Tommy has talked about not racing Belleville for sometime now because of the lack of calls made on guilty parties. FAIRNESS and CONSISTENCY are words that AARA should familiarize themselves with over the winter and hopefully you guys can gain back some respect that you have lost. However, the damage has been done. You guys always say "if you don't like it, don't come back". Thank you for that bit of advice, we are taking it! As for the re-using of the pit passes: Check your books Don-- There are tons of people still doing it. Explain to me how you can threaten someone with jail time for this?? That comment itself made reading your post worth it. As Tommy said, there were a lot more people doing it, they got caught and I believe that my husband was the one and only person that brought you the $$ for his? What a bad person he is for that! If it were me, I would have just left, but see Tommy always tries to see the good in a situation, and I don't. Not when a group of people constantly let intentional wrecks, rough driving, etc happen. So, good luck to you Don Hoener, I wish you and AARA the best!!

Why is this post even continuing. We all know allied has made mistakes, we all know Tommy has made mistakes at one time or another. Hey people allied is run by humans. Humans make mistakes. Quit your whinning and go some where else if you dont like the way they run things. And another piece of advice why dont you people on here act more professional. Act like adults.

I will say one thing Tommy being black flagged in the feature was bogus. The seymours were driving all over Tommy and Jim first. I would suggest to people to go to bellclairs website and click on photos from last friday. Scroll halfway down. There is a pic of shawn seymour into the left rear quarter panel of the #112 car and his right front fender is all curled up from being into him so hard. How much more proof do you need on how the seymours drive so rough week to week.

Didn't someone else already say this?? Yes, Tommy has made mistakes - - He doesnt claim to be perfect. But, at least he is ADULT enough to own up to things when he does make a mistake. You are right, no track is 100% perfect, but, you can only take so much drama from one track before enough is enough.

Thanks,
Amy Smallwood
