I don't know Rick personally but he's giving me a lot of good racing memories over the years and I thought it was worth my time to wish him well. Rick we sure wish you the best and hope you heal soon. As long as you can still shift and turn, you'll be fine right? Good luck buddy!

Rick,
Patrick said he saw you at playday Sunday. Good to hear your doing better. When he told me you are going to race Friday, I told Pat sounds like someone else I know...back in 87 when Pat rolled the truck at Godfrey he came back and race the second race on a double feature that day WITH a fractured rib..can't keep you guys down :) . Glad your home. Take care don't over do it!!! rest up for Friday. See you at the track.

Debbie aka Momma Drew

Please get a doctor's release to race ...

I know points and racing is important; however, I know you and others would feel VERY BAD if, due to your injury, you can't handle the car and cause injury to your fellow friend/racer.

I saw another post on here where Mrs. Driemeyer said Ryan's doctor told him NOT to race, but he did anyway. apparently the track did not ask for a doctor's release to race.

No body wants to keep another driver from driving, but the track and/or promoter will be putting himself in line for a HUGH lawsuit if he allows a racer who he knows is injured to get behind the wheel.

I hope Chad is smart enough to ask to see the doctor's realise before he allows you on the track. I'm not sure he asked for one when Stevie Meyer came back after an injury.

Just food for thought.

im not going to race the car im making one lap
under green and pulling the car in the infeild and i was released by the doctor as long as i didnt try to race the car
he has gave me a cast to put on and said i could even run the mile at springfeild but the car is not ready

Rick Rhoades Has Been Racing For Along Time And Would Never Go Out And Do Something That Might Hurt Another Driver . All I Have To Say To You Uncle Rick Is I Am Glad We Still Have You And You Do Whatever It Takes To Get Better,:) And Then Go Back Out And Race And Hang With The Best Of Them Because We Know You Can. If Going Around That Track One Time Makes You Happy And Helps Keep Up Your Points Then Go Far It As Long As They Say You Can. I Won't Be There To See It But Have Fun .when I Am In Branson With No Kids Having A Blast I Will Be Thinking Of You And Aunt Barb..........lol Have Fun This Weekend But Be Safe While Doing It.

Awesome!!!

Rick, give em heck. Good luck and lots of wishes for a continued recovery. I miss all you guys back there and I sure miss the good racing. I always loved watching Rick race the 00 now that I've moved I will only have the memories. Thanks for some great ones Rick. Valerie Boyer

everyone stay away

give him his one or two laps //be nice or you will be takin out by 77//or 34 we can play very rough to

you havent always been my favorite driver, but by God you have always been FAST! and pretty darn entertaining, too. wishing you a speedy and succesful recovery.

Rick since we wont be at Godfrey this week Big Jim and I wish u all the best. Just take it easy out there. I really dont want to spend anymore time at the hospital with u and I dont think your wife could take much more. Hang in the big guy and give them what for this week. You deserve a chance to keep your points standings up. See ya on MOnday.
