Before everyone gets on here bashing me for why this wont work, come up with some good ideas of how it COULD work.
Same tire and weight for both cars.

Froggy - don't you dare!!! I know where you work!! I'm pretty good at paybacks, too!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!

Hey! I seriously want to know if the whole wheelbarrow racing thing would be considered for intermission entertainment. Of course we'll need some wheelbarrows and a few s u c k e r s - I mean volunteers, but I'll be game to be one of the first ones out there playing. Bed races might just be pretty fun, too! Your thoughts on this Jeff? Would you guys consider it? They do that kind of stuff at minor league baseball games and the crowds LOVE it!!

Racewidow, if you be good I be Good. PROMISE.  HEHEHEHE.

How did the baptism go? Sorry we couldn't make it. Hope everything went well.:D

You know I can't be good - hehehehehehe!!! At least I'm good at it, though!!

The baptism went very well. I swear he actually looked like he paid attention, he didn't fuss, cry or even fidget. He's such a good baby - we really are very blessed to have him. See you at the picnic this weekend? When are you guys going?

:p Glad to hear everthing went well. We really don't do the picnis scene. I have to work at KC friday night, and of course we have racing Saturday, and sunday we are hibrnating(sp). I don't like the heat and Butch doesn't like the crowds and the drunks. But you guys go, have fun, enjoy the heat and the HOMEMADE ICE CREAM!!! YUMMMY!! That's about the only thing (and the hamburgers) I miss about the picnic. You'll have to have one for me!

I'm glad to hear that Rick was able to behave during the ceremony:D
How did the baby do?:D :D

OMG - THAT was funny!!! Suprisingly, the baby didn't cry, fuss or fidget either! They're two peas in a pod, those boys of mine! :D :D :D

Froggy, I'm going to do my best to win a quilt or bingo money, but the kettle beef and the homemade ice cream are what I'm truly going to enjoy the most! LOL

Well racewidow, how was it? Did you win a quilt, eat icecream or kettle beef? Butch went out for some hamburgers and came back an hour later. I worked KC fri night that was enough for me.:D

We had our share - out there Friday (saw Butch out there), Saturday and Sunday. Ate the kettle beef and chicken n dumplins, but was disappointed - rather dry and tasteless. The ice cream was good - brought some home and it's in the freezer for later. I didn't win a quilt, but I did sign up for the chance for the quilt of the month.

Came to the conclusion that the only way to do the picnic is to take a few lawn chairs, park under a nice shade tree and just sit and watch the crowds go by. That's my plan for next year, anyway.

i noticed something at the picnic

Ya got the same group of people standing in the same spot year after year after year doing the same thing they have always done year after year after year. Only differance now is they are either mrried now, got kids, got divorced, ect. ect. ect. Only reason why I went out was becouse I wanted some Pork burgers (which took me a half hour to get) and I got to park extremely close (emergency responders area next to the fire truck) and Jeremy wanted to go for a few minutes. Oh if ya want a quilt, I won several many years ago, I'll give ya one (if i can remember where i put them, mind is slippin lol).

"Ya got the same group of people standing in the same spot year after year after year doing the same thing they have always done year after year after year."

You've got that right - the ONLY thing that's changed in the 20 some-odd years I was gone is the faces. It's almost a different crowd, but still the same people doing the same thing year after year after year! LOL!!

The porkburgers were pretty good. Rick said the wings were awesome, too. I think it's funny to just sit there and watch the kids go by (girls trying to impress the boys and vice versa) and the drunks go from beer stand to beerstand. It was fun taking Andrea to play all the games (she's a master at the frog game) - kids have a good time.

Hey, if you wanna get rid of a quilt, I'll take it - I love the things!
