Bloomquist saluting everyone at KLMS...

circle 18 that is the funniest thing i have seen on here in a long time . You get the best response of the week award dam thats funny!!!!!
 
You know, I talked to someone that was there at the race. Bloomquist didn't try to come out after laps had been ran. He missed the call by about 30 seconds, and the track officials wouldn't let him or the others on. All these drivers were in the back of the pits, and were never told about the schedule change. They were still doing parade laps.
 
I agree hound. Bloomer has a staff of people second to none and im sure...positive..he had people all over the pits and someone had to have heard what was going on. With Bloomer..it always seems to be someone elses fault..for some reason.
 
I read somewhere that either Bloomer or someone in his crew saw the other cars lining up. If that be the case, wouldnt that tell you "Damn, they are lining up, I may want to get lined up too!"

Jesus, he's not a CIA operative, he's a dirt driver.

Let's look at the details:

The PA system was not working in the back of the pit area, and the track personnell was aware of that.

Bloomquist and the other drivers were parked in that area.

The track announced the schedule change.

No one from the track took initiative to tell the drivers in the back of the pit area.

Bloomquist (and friends) were at the back gate BEFORE the race began, according to my contact that was there.


Now, looking at that, I think the track should've let them start, in their positions.
 
What if you are at a baseball game, hockey game, football game, or a NASCAR race and this happend (giving the finger) because of a call made would it still be OK?
 
I go to the hockey game with my daughter and FIGHTS BREAK out. I feel beating the H E L L out of each other is a worse than the finger. And the verbage that goes with that fight. Football games the guys spitting in each others faces and talking about their competitive teams momma's and all the good stuff that goes with that. Then I go to the baseball game and the pitcher hits the batter then the duggouts clear out and the game is on. The fans and their verbage once again goes with it. My child goes to the races and see's a drivers finger in the air and she is wrecked for life :rolleyes:
I am just floored by you guys.... Let your kid live in the "REAL WORLD" and YOU THE "PARENT" TEACH THEM what is "RIGHT" and "WRONG". Then Teach them if they do wrong then you will beat the h e l l out of them... WORKS for my CHILD !!! And if that does not work then I guess it is Bloomers Fault :eek: :eek: :D LOL!!!!
 
thank you..well said..i was gonna say all that but i was to lazy to type it all...the kids was more then liky sleepin after midnight when they saw it anyways..

dirtgirl I understand what you are saying but when you go to a Hockey game you know you are going to see a fight. I know that but that doesn't make it ok. My point is if high payed public person in other sports did that would it be ok. Everyone is saying that what Bloomer did was ok. If Wyane Greztky was to give the finger to a ref. cause he didn't like a call would that be ok?

I understand what you are saying as well. But those people and sports you mentioned they get paid either way. It does not matter if their team wins or loses or gets into a fight. A race car driver drives many hour many miles and many dollars for a two day race and never gets to race the feature he quailfied for. Reguardless if he made it on the track on time or not. He did not get paid... DID NOT RACE DID NOT GET PAID.... That in itself would piss me off !!!!!! I am still at a loss what the big deal is. ^^1^^ :D :D :D And there are a lot of local idols that are 10 times worse than Bloomer..... We just overlook that because they are locals !!!!
 
The thing is Bloomer did get paid to be there. I would be a little more understanding if the other guys who are not paid to show up did it but thats were it is different Bloomer gets paid to be at places. No it may not be the 10,000 that he has a chance to win but he still gets something to be there.
 
And I do not think people are saying it is okay. They are saying what is the big deal??? We see worse than that on a daily bases.....
What did he get paid to show up? And it was suppose to be a 20,000 dollar show. Bloomer d/n usually show up for 10,000 and appearanced fee. Sometimes not always... :)
