mmmm since Bush was in office I got a home for a low rate..
lets see I lost insurance during the Clinton admin..
9/11 may not had happen if clinton would have been paying attention instead of playing with MONACA

gas prices.... OPEC is who has it so high wonder why... they don't like bush they wanted another push over president they wanted Kerry so they raised the price to make bush look bad

kerry hurt himself with the war saying it's a mistake... that don't settle well with military folks over there..

yes ol gorge has his faults but I think he is a good leader.
Kerry would have to form a commitee to figure out which underware to wear then get approval from the un to put them on.. the man is nothing but a campainer with NO BACK BONE!!

I may only be 19, and you all may think I might not know aloit about politics. But if you ask me, this is a time when the whole country needs to come together. Democrats, Republicans, Independants, and everyone just needs to come together. Like SenatorKerry said in his speech today " we all need to come together, and find a common ground so that we can work to make a better america. We need for everyone to work together, not argue, and be one sided. If both sides work as they are promising they will, to work together, I think everything will be alot better. I for one didnt want to see george Bush win, but we have to live with the fact that he did, and work to make this country better!

You want to srew me? Now who's the faggot here?

hammertime...you have got to be one of the most misinformed people I have read on here, not to mention you can't debate in a sensible way what so ever. Get a clue and wake up and look around you.

HAMMERTIME IS A DUMB*****.

Thats right. You're big behind that computer. But, you'll go to Iraq?? Can't be a bad***** behind a computer there.

Hey look every one I'm dumb

 ouch man that hurt! Ha ha your funny. why don't you just shut the **** up and just admit that Bush is awsome and your not!

oh ya i am a bad @** and don't forget it!

Hey folks, I just got through watching two very, very impressive speeches. First the best speech John Kerry made during the past 18 months and then President Bush's speech. Both spoke of coming together and putting our differences apart to work together. They were both speaking from the heart and for the well-being of our country. I hope we all can somehow find the strength and courage to do exactly what they asked. I didn't vote for Kerry, but he really showed me what a great American he is by putting this all behind us now and trying to heal campaign wounds. If he had shown some of his genuine emotions during the campaign like he did today there might have been a different outcome. But I hope all of us can take a page out of Kerry's and Bush's speeches today and start working together insted of all the useless bickering.

slidewaysBOOOOOOOOO...4 more years of hell!!! BOOOOO

WRONG! Bush is by far a lot beter than the fag lover/baby killer Kerry!

why don't you slide your way on down there!

You know this is not the first post you have talked about fags..... I am starting to wonder about you  And as always this is a prime example why politics and religion should not be common conversation with the average idiot!!!!!

I will briefly share my opinion on the election in general.

I voted for Bush partly for personal reasons, partly for moral reasons.

Morality - I am anti abortion, and believe as it says in the bible that homosexuality is an abomination... remember what happened to Sodom and Gamora (probably spelled it wrong sorry)?

Personal reasons - The economy was on the downslide when Bush took office. The last 2-3 yrs of the Clinton era the stock market was extremely over valued, and in mid 99 people started to notice that there were alot of high priced stocks with no real value... here comes the dot com dive. I don't necessarily agree with Bush's plans in total to jumpstart the economy, but he could have done worse or nothing.

9/11 can not be totally laid in Bush's lap either because if you look back, the first time the WTC was attacked was under Clinton. The support for Bush going after Bin Laden was running in the upper 70% range for quite a while, then as they say time heals all wounds and support started to fade. I think they should have caught him already for sure but thats a different argument.

Lets be realistic, the reason I was able to refinance my house at such a cheap rate was because the fed cut interest rates again and again to try to spur the economy to life again. So to that I say thanks Mr Clinton.

As far as libs saying well go to Iraq and die for Bush... I served in the first Gulf War on a Tank, and if asked to go back I would go because I feel that as a citizen of this country it is my duty to defend it if called upon regardless of the situation. That is part of the cost of living in a free country, sacrifices must be made by a few for the safety of many. ****s if you are the sacrifice, but if nobody fights for this country then we aren't nearly as great as we claim to be. I will admit freely that this round in Iraq is a cluster F, but we are there now, sacrifices have been made and I feel that we should either get serious and sweep the damn country of the bad guys or get the hell outta there NOW. I vote for the first option as I feel no young man or woman should die in vain.

Here are the reasons I didnt vote for Kerry...
1. abortion supporter
2. supports gay marriage
3. stated multiple times he had plans to fix everything from the war in Iraq to childcare, education, healthcare, social security and the environment but I never once heard him detail what one of those plans were for a single issue. I even went to his website where it stated he had "plans" to fix the above listed items, but no elaboration. I couldnt bring myself to vote for someone with a "plan" that i dont know the details of and may not agree with.
4. war record... I will not get into this too much other than to say his wounds were very very minor and a couple of his awarded purple hearts in my eyes are very questionable.
5. Gas prices... I have a hard enough time paying the prices now let alone if Kerry had his way. He voted multiple times to raise gas taxes.
6. He speaks of Bush isnt in touch with the middle class, well there I agree, but John Kerry has never resided in the middle class income bracket. The man knows how to marry thats for sure. First wife came from a well off family. Second wife, totally loaded (Mrs Heinz ketchup).

Lets be realistic, both are elitists, ivy league educated rich guys who came from rich families, never had to hold a regular job, and are going to do everything in their power to forward their own agendas. We will see how W does in the next 4 yrs, house and senate are now even more heavily GOP favored so he should be able to get alot done with little opposition.

Hmmmmm, nobody mentioned that George W Busch received the majority vote as well as the Electorol ..... :)

dirt hound is smart enough to not get in this debate, with missouri being republican state ansd illinios being a democrat
