Dirt on Dirt says Bloomquist suspended for 6 months by Woo

I really doubt his tires had a strong odor, nobody would put treatment on their tires if it were that obvious.
 
they should park his arse for a year you know no dream no world no summer nats and do that to any one else they caught BY RAMDOM

The only other person to be caught was a regional driver who doesn't travel their series. I don't believe they haven't caught a regular because they don't cheat, i would bet they haven't caught a regular because they aren't concerned about them cheating.

like i said before, I wouldn't put it past Bloomer to cheat his tires but I do think they are targeting him for several reasons.

Dave you nailed it on the head. What I have been preaching for the past year is that these sanctioning bodies really could care less about people doping tires. Which is simply why I keep saying that they should get rid of the rule if they don't enforce it. Then it wouldn't cost guys like me so much to develop better stuff to get around the teching and in the long run save the racers money. I don't make anymore money either way, same profit. I've talked to a couple people today and found out what he had in the tire, I will just say that they really did their homework because it was something we believed to be undetectable by a sniffer and by lab tests. Back to the drawing board.
 
No offense, but how can you figure a lab would't detect something. It would seem kinda simple that anything present other than the compounds that make up the tire itself could be considered some kinda treating agent??? Fooling a sniffer I would think is one thing. But a laboratory is another.

No, I think you are incorrect. You check these tires inside and out with a durometer and something is going to show.

During the Modified mania Series the official at the scale was checking tires with a durometer since no one was caught does that mean tires weren`t doped up there.

Cooperate greed will be the end of that stuff eventually. Its a steady progression since Bob Memmer left it in good hands. Not a kool aid drinker so I don't travel around giving my money for their over priced shows just to say I was there for the party.

You can think all you want, but you are incorrect. If you would like to watch me prep a tire and duro the tire before and after then give me a call and I will gladly show you. Just because you prep a tire it doesn't mean the tire will be softer. There are many results that can be achieved by prepping tires. But seriously call me and I will show ya.
 
GSR is right.Their are preps that clean the rubber,There are preps that Treat the Rubber,and their are preps that Soften the rubber.We built every Prep Known to man when we raced Karts 15 Years ago...

I go to 95% of the shows that Scott races. Of the shows that I am at they check Scott tires probably 94% of the time.

With that being said:

1) Scott knows they are going to check his tires almost all the time.

2) If Scott uses something on his tires, he knows it is a pretty good bet
he is going to get caught.
 
So your saying Scott knew he was going to "cheat" from the start??????????????
Everyone trys to bend / modify / push the limet of the rules to see how far they can get the edge BUT with that much money on the line and fame of being a winner at lowes WHY cheat and risk giving yourself a bad name? I know he don't care what people think (and that is why some people don't like him) but to be tagged as a cheater and a jerk must mean he has no respect for his family name just him self.
Since we have been racing I have come to see why we are a mid to back runner every weekend we never have cheated!!!!!!! (to poor to afford the good stuff :rolleyes::D ) I respect my drivers name and repetion over being labled a cheater. Might cost us a few wins but I know from all the traveling we do our name is out there and people respect us for who we are not "here comes the cheaters" JMO
 
Oh one more question please? So we don't haft to worry about Scott going on Dirt on Dirt or some other show and cry why he got fined? Also why is he even going to appeal the call? As you say he knew it going into it?
