fergy: post the remaining schedule here so everyone will know. That is not so hard to keep everyone informed. Why must it be so secret? Why not tell everyone here if you are fixing the scoring problems? You know there is a problem since many are complaining, because I heard it myself.


Jumpinjack: I really think you may need to stick with flagging RC races. I have never seen a flagman turn his back to the track like you do. You may be able to handle a corner flagman job but not a head flagman job.

Fergy: also, if you must talk on the phone my number is 983-4029, but I am here to tell you that I will post what is said here as far as the schedule and fixing the scoring. I just can not understand why it is so top secret about the schedule?

I am not responsible for Shawn's vocal unhappiness. I am unhappy too about some things in this world but I dont think this board is the place for that.. Shawn if you can change the world or the series to make you or the other vocal party happy i wish you luck.. But I think you are going about it the wrong way. But this is only an opinion

No, Scott you are not, but do not act like you are mister happy as well. As for the other person, I do not know who they are but it is nice to see someone else on here with the guts to post what they feel. The complaints are not that large.................................

All I asked for was a list of the schedule and asked what race the Lebanon race replaced, but that was not answered. I have asked on the phone about the scoring at Greenville and I never get an answer. I hate to see a good thing messed up. I see no reason to keep the schedule secret.

What is the big problem with answering the questions here???????????????? Is it too much to ask for the current schedule? What is the big secret?
 
Since my last post a couple of the guys that run in the series called and emailed me and here is what they came up with for one of my questions.

About the schedule we pieced together this.........

(TBA) KLMS Rainout
Sep 4(Sunday) Montgomery County(MO)
Sep 17(Sat) Bond County(IL)
Sep 24(Sat) Midway(Lebanon, Mo)
Oct 1 (Sat) Bond County (IL)
Oct 15 (sat) Bond County(IL)

Now that answered one of my questions about the schedule, but created two more.

1) If the KLMS date is rescheduled that will make 6 races left and only 5 points races are suppost to be left.

2) If one of these races is not a points race or will not happen, which one?

I can not for the life of me figure out why it is such a pain to get the dates left to be posted on here as I asked. Now, do I have the schedule correct?
 
What happens to your schedule if KLMS reschedules for Sept 17th, Shawn? Does the Bond County date stay in place? Oh, hang, that raises two more questions. If KLMS changes to the 17th, does the Bond County race stay on the schedule for the guys running the Sizzlin Six series in the Micro, SS and Hornet divisions, while the actual promoters go to KLMS? Or does the entire event get cancelled because the Fastrak promoters have to go KLMS? Now, if the KLMS show gets rescheduled for Sep 24th, does the Midway show get moved to Friday, the 23rd, to be run on the heat nights of the Fall Brawl? Would that keep Harold and the fans out there happy? Would two night back to back, Midway then KLMS be ok with everyone? Now, how about running KLMS on a Friday, then trekking back up to Bond County on a Saturday? What if Mel wants another Fastrak race at MCS? Now, let's go back to rescheduling the KLMS date. What if it gets rescheduled for Oct 1? Does the Bond county date get rescheduled for he micro, ss and hornet racers to the end of Oct? Or is that too late in the year to count on racing? Would anyone still come out? Now, if KLMS gets rescheduled to Oct 15th, then what happens to the BCR Sizzlin Six race. Does it get moved back to Oct 7th? Or later in the year? Does the BCR date get moved to Sept 10th? Does the Oct 15th race get eliminated entirely, or moved back into Sept sometime?
 
What are you talking about? All I have wanted to know is what the schedule is. Why is it so tough to just post the answer here instead of dancing around? If I am incorrect on the number of points races or dates, just let me know. I really do not see what the big deal is????????????????????????????????

AS a fan this year and a would be driver next season i would like to know the rest of the dates for this year! I did not race the series this year,because i wanted to see how it was going to be,(the racing) (the people running things) the whole picture!!!!

Like i said in my post they havent notified me yet of any change the last i heard was oct 1

First i watch the whole track not just the front strait, i have to look thru a bunch of plexiglass and the only part of the track i cant see with my back to the front straight is about 6 car lengths on the front straight but if you were knowagable of that you would know that while i have my back to the front straight the scorer is watching it continuesly. so maybe you can come down to the flag stand with me and see how easy it is to turn your back to the front straight :eek: oh one other thing have you ever flagged races if not then don't complain about it untill u have

What happens to your schedule if KLMS wants a BCR date?:confused: :confused:
 
We are trying to make the last race of the year at BCR a benefit race for Karl who drove in the Fastrak series at BCR. Since Karl is also a Modified driver we want to change the Oct. 15th date to a date that does not conflict with Highland or TCS so we could include the Mods in the benifit race to help Karl. Karl will not be able to work for at least 6 to 8 months but his bills will continue.

The last race of the year at BCR is being left open for a Fastrak points race if needed. If it is not needed as a points race for the Fastrak series it will be a non-points night for the Fastrak series but a points race for BCR.

I have heard that KLMS does not know where they would fit a date in to reschedule. Just what I have heard.
 
jumpinjack: I have flagged before and since when are scorers responsible for watching the front straightaway for a flagman? Shouldn't you have more flagmen? Sounds like maybe the scoring might be off??????????????????? Why is there only ONE scorer???????? (there should be at least THREE)!!!!!!

Where did you get the idea that there is only one scorer? We will let you know as soon as Sherri tells us.

Fergy: From the post by JumpinJack that stated that the scorer watches the front straight for him. Maybe that was reading into the wording too much, but that is what it said. I'll leave that there.

I was wondering...since the Lebanon Midway race is on Sept. 24th, the Bond Co. race is Oct.1st and the KLMS makeup race is in between the two, (which are one week apart) will Fastrak be racing three times in eight days? Will the KLMS race be on Friday the 30th, then the Bond Co. race the following night, Sat. Oct. 1st? Like I said, I was just wondering.
