Fastrak,Weekly Track in Illinois?

I might have missed something, but is there a track in Illinois that is going to be sanctioned for weekly racing? If so, could you please let me know which track it is? Thanks.

So far Stan and Fastrak is the only that has done everything that they said they were going to do.

Stan Lester, April-September 2006- The Grand Nationals will be three nights of racing at one track in either Kentucky or Tennessee to make it easy for everyone to compete for the championship.
Stan Lester, September 2006- The Grand Nationals will be at 3 tracks, one in Tennessee, 2 in South Carolina, 600 miles apart.
I don't really call that doing everything you say you are going to do.
The bottom line with Fastrak and Stan is you never know what he is going to do. Just my opinion based on my experience with Stan.

THEY SAY THAT CUZ OF SOME RULE CHANGES THEY SAY ARE COSTING THEM MONEY. WELL, THE WEEKLY ROAD TRIPS TO RACE WILL COST THEM TOO.

I agree with Pitdrifter. UMP deciding to sanction Crates is the worst news CARS, FASTRAK, and Stormpay could have heard. UMP is so well established in this region that it will be very hard to compete with them. I predict that in 5 years or less UMP will be the only sanctioning body for Crate Late Models in this region. I could be wrong though. I honestly hope I am wrong too. A lot of people have worked very long and hard to build these other sanctioning bodies into credible organizations.

I suppose the difference is you can run for a $10,000 to win National Weekly Championship in FASTRAK and how much for the other series? Do you even know yet?
$5000 to win for Touring Regions across the country in every region. How much is the other Series?
Over $300,000 to win Nationally and how much for the other Series?
A 3 day event that pays $50,000 to the winner! Paid through 40 positions and the rule book stated 30. Another $6000 in 'tow money" to the teams that didn't make either show. The $6000 was divided equally among them.
The only Series out there period that pays people even when they don't run the series spec tire. Know anyone else that does that?
Driver Marketing seminars at the banquet, rules meetings that include the drivers, drawings for over $25,000 in prizes for everyone that attends the banquet. Tech training and promoter seminars at the banquet. How can anyone say we don't do our best to help?

Yep in 2006 we had to go to different tracks than we had planned. Its a good thing we did. Track conditions did not allow it to happen the way we preferred but it DID happen and everyone got paid as stated.
In 2007 we changed the entire National Championship as to be even more fair to teams across the country. We listened to our teams and we changed it accordingly. Night one was held in each individual Region then we went and raced for two days instead of three like the year before. Saved our teams money and they didn't have to take off as much time from work. The races were moved closer to the Mid West. They will continue to move, as other Regions continue to grow.
Our Teams use for the most part less than 10-14 tires per year. How many did you use? The guy that won the $50,000 won it with only 14 new tires.
Yes some peope think I am a smart a-- because I don't b/s you and tell you things you WANT to hear versus the truth but personally I prefer to be treated that way. Isn't that the 'golden rule'? Treat others like you want to be treated. OK. There are obviously from this post, some disgruntled former FASTRAK employees out there but it isn't because I haven't tried to resolve things with them. I have tried but it takes two when there are misunderstandings. If they REALLY wanted to work things out I truly believe they would have called, don't you? Some former employees bounced checks to me, but you don't see me on here calling them by name. I have a little more integrity than that.
I wished, I truly wished everyone there could like me but I have learned in this business that is almost impossible. I have given you my very best and thats all I can do. FASTRAK is a love of mine and thats why I do it. I love racing. I appreciate our teams. I would say for the most part if you have been upset with me about something, you either heard it from someone else or I did something that might have made you mad. If I did then for goodness sakes call me. I would love to work it out. There isn't one team in that area that I have not helped one way or another when they called and asked me too.
Anyway, I am quite sure the 'bashing' will come rather quickly. If you think thats fair and a proper way to do things then I sure can't stop you. I guess that means you think its ok to air your dirty laundry on a public forum. I on the other hand to do not think thats how you do business and won't participate in it. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is here was this one man, me, that risked everything he owned to make racing better. For the little guy for the most part. Took it to the level of putting the little guys as the headliners for a change and for some reason some people just can't see that. Have I made mistakes? You bet, just like most human begins do including most if not all of you. I told everyone when I started this I didn't know what the heck I was doing. That I WOULD make mistakes but that I would try not to make the same ones twice. What else can a man do?
I am the one that risked it all for crate racing. I did it when there was no such thing. One man, not some big corporation. If you prefer to go out and support some huge corporation then that is your choice. Whatever happened to common people supporting common people? See, where I came from thats what racers did. I guess times have changed and I just failed to change with them.

CARS SERIES........ Point Fund Money ......
The CARS SERIES is suppose to pay out $10 grand to the Point Champion, but AK say there is not enough money to pay it along with no banquet. Not to mention what are the other drivers going to get for their Point Fund Money and for supporting the so called CARS SERIES?
They collected $75 from each driver to join their CARS Series, had sponsors, had a Crate Car Raffle, and A Hunting Raffle which both were to be used to raise money for the POINT FUND MONEY for the drivers!
At least the CARS SERIES wont be around this next race season!

Round and round yes. This CARS vs FASTRAK thing gets old. But the problem is you have someone(like this thread) from FASTRAK tooting their own horn but yet no track in Illinois CURRENTLY is running this series or even thinking of it. Quite possibly due to last years issues with the association. Now.CARS has a serious black eye in what they are doing. They built theriselves to be the best of the best and quite frankly i loved the series but it all ended in gumbo(as my grandpa used to say). Organization folded.....finger pointing. Nobody will put their 2 feet down and really tell anyone what is going to happen with the money that WAS supposed to be handed out. Bad business..bad PR for sure. So if someone from FASTRAC has an official announcement, please fill the wondering minds in on whats up. I still see no tracks on the 2008 schedule from Illinois and there has to be a reason.

In my previous post i was hoping to get your side and even hoping to have Il tracks involved in Fastrak events because i do believe that the Fastrak series was a great deal . Now your ignorant comments and bashing lead me to believe that if you are representing Fastrak you really dont need any of us IL boyz ?
