For those wanting more Tri-City info, here you go!

Good question, why would that be necessary when everybody knows when the drawing is? No 50/50 drawing or lottery ticket for that matter does it this way. If your not there you dont collect.

Attendees only can win?

Now, that's just not right. Whenever you buy a raffle ticket from anyone or any organization, you have to put your name and phone number on the stub that goes in the pot with all the other tickets. Most of these are sold by members of organizations (or groups wanting to make some money) to their friends, co-workers, relatives, etc. Most do not require the person to be present to win.

Honestly, I don't think Brett Cygan (It was Brett, right?) was in attendance when he won the crate late model this past year. I don't think you'd sell many tickets if you had to be in attendance to win.

Just as Debbie Cummins has stated, it makes it easier to contact the person that won. Why must one be present to win if they purchased a just ticket like everyone else? It only takes one to win but you can buy as many as you like. Thanks, Sean.

I believe it is D.J. Cygan that won & I don't believe he was in attendance. When they called his name & said from "Speed City USA" I thought where in the heck is Speed City USA?!?!?!?...LOL. I believe he said he only bought 5 tickets.

I think it's about time to put the tired ole dog to sleep, jumpinjackoffdw. I didn't see where you were spoken to? Whats the Deal with Jimmy? First you want to run him down, then you kizz his heiny? Jimmy had a great time with us and I'm sure he'll be back.

Another thing, what I said in the earlier post, and in response to a post thats gone is that a sportsman is really just a mod with Fenders, repete, Sportsman is really just a mod with fenders. Not a crate, repete, not a crate. That repete was for the older gentlemen in our discussion.

Yes, and yes 100 more times on Stan being the problem. Promises not delivered!! Dont ask me, ask everyone else who's dealt with him! The proofs in the puddin.

Thank you!! I knew someone would do this. I think in one of my comments that I said I enjoyed the crates at greenville, I enjoyed the CARS races at tricity this year, I dont know stan but he seems like a nice guy, if you would explain yourself in the post so people knew what you were talking about would help.

and in YOUR opinion, which everyone has one, a sportsman is a modified with fenders. so don't be bashing people when they disagree with you, because everyone has an opinion. so instead of bashing people just get on here and voice your opinion. I did. and it upset someone. I just read these things and put down my opinion. sometimes i'm right sometimes i'm wrong. read my comments I did say change is good, sometimes.
And like todd said quit reading into what isn't there

Actually we owe a thank you to the Fergusons and the guys like Todd and Sean who were willing to bring the crates in here to start with. Doesnt matter what sanction. (CARS probably wouldnt be here if not introduced first by Fastrack.) Its just good for the future of racing.

Thanks to Kevin and Tammy for giving it a chance. No one can guarantee success but it wont fail for lack of hard work and committment. AK

thanks Al. Your right!! You always have to give change a chance, This might be the best thing to happen in a long time. But you always hear this kind of stuff when ever a class is dropped, and a new one started.
I think that if the sportsman drivers really want to know why they were dropped they should contact kevin and tammy. I'm sure they would be glad to explain it.

It truely was not FASTRAK that started crates in our area. It was the Fergusons. For those who know the Fergusons and what they are about there is a real good reason why they are not with Stan Im sure. Just remember that there are two sides to every story. I wish the Fergys would come back and race with us. Crate racing is going to get where they visioned it to be. A place where some folks can go race affordable and have a good time doing it. Thanks to the CARS series for picking up were FASTRAK is leaving off. I think that FASTRAK has its problems but I dont feel that Todd or the folks that were helping him are the problems. There hands were and would be tied. I just think for our area and the kind of racers we are I think Stan is the problem but that is just my opinion......

We raced a sportsman for a while too.. And I seen the writing on the wall. We sold ours while we had a chance to. Our class was dropped 2 years later. Now call me lucky? Probably, we went out and built a street stock and had great luck with it and had alot of fun with it. There is a love that I still have for those 2 classes. Most of it is within the people in the class. Although they get very little recognition for the quality of show they give, they still put their heart into whatever they can afford to bring to the track. Many of you know that I will be in a crate car some next year. And because of the Friday night issue, I may not be able to get over there to TRI CITY. But I would have never been able to make the dream of driving a late model possible if it wasn't for the crate class. A good stepping stone to get in a super LM.

Some will still reply back to me, that it would also not of been possible to drive a crate either without good financial support. True, but the fact of the matter is, we as drivers and fans need to realize, most people will never get a chance to show the world how good they are if you stay in what is termed a low budget class. Some people get a break and some people don't. ASK Ricky Carmichael, and Steven Lieght.

I have been blessed with great people in this sport, form all over this country, please don't ruin this for you, your kids, and future gens to come.

Thank you for the hard work you do Kevin.

i agree with this, the fergusons ran the show and did a good job of it, and i really believe that stan is the reason that the fergusons are not involved with fastrak any more.
