Things are starting to look better toward Fredericktown being open for 2005! If they would the classes would be:

IMCA style modifieds
Pure Streets
Mini Stocks
Dwarf Cars
NEW: "B" Modifieds (same as Montgomery County Speedway rules)

No sportsmen.

Keep your fingers crossed...

Yep Dirt .......

There was a few weeks that their car count was low but in the latter part of the season it really picked up. The Hobbies/Sportsman put on great shows down there as well as the Modifieds. LD

Fredericktown is an IMCA style modified track... UMP mods don't go well in this area due to $$$$$$...

who will the promoter be? Have any Mini-stocks expressed
an interest in racing there in 2005?

It everything works out it will be Terry. If not the track will be closed. Yes, the mini stocks will race there and yes there has been several inquiries.

so by there being "A" and "B" classes of mods does that mean guys that are usually infront like billy smith, brent thompson, kenny kennedy, joe geisler and so on will run "a" and guys that run middle of pack and back like John Bohn, Tommy Worley Sr.,resingers, and so on will run "b mods"? and what's stopping from say an "a" mod guy taking his car and going into the "b" mod class to win more? is there a mechanical difference between these two classes or are they the same? if theyre the same then why split them up? that's dumb. someone fill me in on this whole thing, cause by Millsey saying that the "a" mods arent going to be UMP why make two classes of the same cars??????? and to be real honest i think UMP would be great at Fredericktown if they could get enough cars...Be pretty neat seein Scott Weber flyin around "the rock" or shereck, what other tracks that run UMP mods on friday nights are there? Belleville? That's the only one I can think of....so where does all the UMP missouri guys run on friday nights? give some info on all this would someone?

there are two tracks in mo. that are ump, we need more ump point tracks theres none on fri. , you will see car count twice as high with ump its a proven fact.

Guys, a "B" mod class is another entry level form of racing. It's also less expensive. We actually had some guys who would have qualified for "B" mod rules that ran last year with us at Fredericktown. This just allows some of the people who were wanting to get into modified class a chance to do so without the huge expense of trying to run with the big names of the class. Have you looked at the "B" mod rules???
