Great Idea for upcoming fund-raiser!!

From what I understand the prize money is split that would be earned if leased... At least that was one way I heard it should be done.

Also, I talked with Dean and he might do the roll cage and stuff to sponsor the RAMS. He's going to check with his father.
 
Millsey let me paint it I want ot paint it like a califonia state patrol car or a oklahama state patrol car... Bill that is why I suggested a ford cause some of us ford guys has spare parts to matian it I have 3 matching parts cars to fix it plus we can save the tail light headlights and sell them for parts to pay for some things.. I have a shop if it need worked on to fix it in I have a little room left in it right SHANNON..... yeah If dean would do that for a sponsor ship for montzing Motor sports that would be a great Ideal the feb swap meet is coming soon and we can pick up some nessary items there!
 
well i broke one of the tail lights unloading it. But you can keep the tail lights out of the s-10 to sell. :D :D
 
I was just saying we can do little stuff like that to help finace some of it thats all is a shame to do that to that car:D but hey I got the extra parts to fix er up... now bill don't get mad when it pass's you on the track:D :p :D
 
So Wheel, are you wanting to swap? Either way is fine, but if that will help you out with parts I'm game. Either way we are going to be in pretty good shape on the project already. It's just a matter of getting the vehicle where we want and getting the cage put in.

I never even opened the hood...did they use more than one size 4 cyl. in those trucks? If the hood will open, I will try to check it out tomorrow & let you know...the only reason I thought it was a 4 speed was the shift pattern on the shift knob...:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
Well they started out with 1.9 and 2.0s in them and went to 2.5s in 85 but still had the 1.9's and 2.2 diesels. They had 4 and 5 speeds. What year is it? and see what motor it has if you don't mind.
 
O yeah and I'll put a stack on it so it will blow those little black rings like the tractors do at the tractor pulls.

Please, don't let this slide to the back burner. If we are going to do this as a fund-raiser this CANNOT be a project that just two or three of us contribute to. The entire association will benefit so we need the help of the ENTIRE association.

Since we are apparently going to use the S-15 pickup, we need to set up a place to get things done. We will need someone to strip the inside prior to us getting the truck to Dean or whoever. Please folks, help me out here. We will finalize everything at our upcoming meeting but we need to get prepared right now.

You know, something else to consider might be coming up with a trade of goodies with Rob & Cindy for their Vega that already has the roll cage in it.
