I-55 Raceway AARA Fall Nationals Results!

have a question since eilers was light does he keep the money on the laps he lead if not where and who got that money

No, Eilers did not keep the lap money.

Kent Nations was given the lap money for laps 1-16 since he was in second on those laps and Gary Haynes was given the money for lap 17-24 since he was second on those laps that Eilers led. Haynes got the lap money from lap 17-50 since actually led laps 25-50.

Good job Chris Fisher on your second place feature finish in the Pro 4's. Way to go Robbie Eilers for coming from the C main to the B main to finish 8th in the A Main.

Was some great racin!!!! But next year they neded to have transponders! I dont know how many different drivers got screwed by the fact they it seemed like corner guys were aloud to put cars where they wanted. I kinda think that it was BULLSH!T that russel did not get to keep his lap money the whole bracket that had the 120 some odd pound lead ripped right off the frame!!!! I mean come on they knew when i came off the car H3LL it took three people to get it off the track. I cant believe they did that it came off when there was 8 laps to go russel no longer had the lead when this happened.

And another thing since when are you not aloud to finish the race when the SAFETY caution is called on you because there was a fire under your car? I mean come on you guys are the ones that told him to get outta the car like robbie said next time LET IT BURN. I was under the understanding that when there is a SAFETY caution nobody get penalized. At least that is how i have seen Allied do it in years before.

Also during the sportsman feature did anyone else see the BRIGHT ORANGE fender on the track for at least 6 laps THAT SHOULD BE A SAFETY THING!!! Also your turn 1 and 2 corner man told me (during the roll over in the consi that cummings and the other man get in a terrible wreck) that he could not pull a fender up to keep a tire from rubbing it SHOULD BE A SAFETY THING!!! I was on the number 32 car i think a allied regular. And then another guy asked the corner man to pull dirt outta his drivers right front tire ANOTHER SAFTEY THING!!!! But during the feature I noticed that same corner man under Gary Haynes car for over two minutes looking like his head was somewhere under the middle of the car on the drivers side. NOW WAS THAT A SAFETY MATTER OR JUST SHOWING FAVORTISM??? Which one is it please do tell???

And also to the talker guy. Mike i used to love hearing you on the speakers at a track. H3LL I grew up listening to you when you used to announce at highland. YEARS AGO. But can i ask what was with the dis respect towards Russel Eilers during his heat race. The part where you announced that the car was for sale but you made sure to let everyone know that you bet you wont get what was on the car. Now what was with that disrespect???? I can personally tell you that you could have bought the car at the track as it sat if you had the cash for it. And your lil jokes that you think is funny are honestly RUDE man. I think that someone needs to send you to a stand up comedy night so you can learn wat disrespect is and was a funny is.

SORRY TO BE BLUNT BUT SATURDAY NIGHT WAS SOME AWESOME RACING!!!!! BUT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE WORSE OFFICIATING JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN TO DATE!!!!! Congrats to all the winners you drove your ASS3S OFF!!!! Also congrats to Robbie Eilers for starting like 22nd and finishing somewhere in the top ten i wanna say 7th??? Maybe. Also congrats to Andy Casper!!

As for the 87 Haynes car issue you are referring to, it was not favortism it was safety. He thought oil was leaking out of the car and he told the guy for SAFETY issues. The official was making sure that it wasn't leaking

NO favortism here trust me!

I beilve you then lol.

But one last thing to allied since when is it if you get a majority of the cars past the line then its a complete lap???? Do they always do it like that??

I was under the impression if a car lost lead they were black flagged no questions asked. Is that not why they have the car number marked on the lead. Not bashing anyone the Eillers can drive door to door with the best of them. Just a ?

I have a question. What was all the comotion about in the tech line after the sportsman race? It seemed like a bunch of people were over there compared to a regular night.

Then I saw someone throw a blanket over a car being tech'ed. Was the car cold or something? I thought its supposed to be an open tech session.

I have never seen a crew throw a mat over the setup after the race is over, to be honest I have never seen a sportsman covered up at I-55 before the race. It made me think that they were trying to hide something, does anybody know why the car was covered?

Danny Ems

You know it is tough enough to make the feature in 1 class but this kid did it in 2 classes.
Sportsman Class- 6th place feature finish
Pure Stock - 2nd place feature finish

Great Job to a kid who has come along way in the last year or two! Continued sucess .......

I have said from day 1 transponders would help but it is also up to the drivers to get back in line asap to get back going. Are you for real on asking why you can't finish a race when the caution for FIRE is for you? If your on fire and it is put out don't you think it might start right back up? I cant belive they let him stay out after he cought on fire the first time.

The 87 car was covered for a reason we work very hard to get are set up.
If everybody wouldn't have been sticking there head under the car then we wouldn't have to cover it up. I guess the ones that had there heads under the car need to do there home work! Why does everyone want to ruin a good run.

I don't blame you then- the only nose's in the car should have been the tech guy! Guess alot of people forget about the Bauer's ( SP ) they always covered their rear end when the night was over even during tech! That was normal back then. But honestly it really does not matter if they saw what you had they can't duplicate the driver behind that car and that is what got that car to the front in my opinion! Way to GO GOV!!!!!!!! You were the class of the field Sat Night !
