I was there opening night, just to darn far for my old asss to drive but i do wish ya all good luck..lenny g.

The Tricity, Highland and Belleville rules all allow the Hoosier emod tires. The emods are designed for racing and are safer than the street tires on the track for about the same price new. Highland allows street tires but nobody ran them all year.

I'm getting most response for those rules so its most likely. But was thinking mod tires takeoffs could be used. Appears most clearly want a dot type tire. I have had a guy put together a set of rules that look pretty good. We will go over them over the next few days and decide.
The beer sales deal Jim hasn't talked to me about but I dont drink either and know it kept people away and cost at least a couple thousand in profits weekly in 2012. At the very least allow people to pay a few bucks to bring in a cooler. I should know more on that sometime today.
Racerman pm me your name and number and what skills you have and I will pass it on.

Question:
Personally, i've never heard of paying a track a fee to bring in a cooler. Is this common place?

Dirtboy...
How about this year you make a pledge not to be so negative? This is a good thing thats happening so try to be supportive.

Here is a idea for the stock class run enduro type rules I went to my first enduro race this weekend an it was entertaining start them an hour before hot laps then people that get there early are entertained an the track is run in an ready to race by hot lap time these cars were very cheap to build an the only rule absolutely no racing components weld the doors shut an remove any thing that might easily fall off on the track when the track was sloppy like that they can rub pretty good an not much damage just an idea

Love enduro racing should do it year around once a month. 2 hours or 200laps weather permitting. I'm not in charge but gonna recomend it.

That's what I'm suggesting ever week start them at like 5 on a muddy sloppy track let them go until the track starts getting cleaned off 50 75 100 laps just till it gets to good hot lap conditions then throw the checkered new guys with not much money can get a ton of seat time in a cheap way old school become friends with some one with a junk yard or tow lot run the car till it won't go an trade it for a different one there worth the same in scrap when your done with them as when you started an the fans get some great entertainment while they wait

enduros are a good idea i was in the one in poplar bluff last sat had a blast tell fuel pump went out i was in the red baron a few tracks down south are starting classes with similar rules lets alot of peaple get there feet wet in racing [plummersville speedway in arkansas has the most affordable bone stock rules goin] they are on there website

This is Kim Westling and I am happy to see MMP opening for next season. If everyone will just be patient and give the track their support we might have a track for us all to race at for a long a very long time. I have helped promote a track in Colorado that pulled over 150 cars a night and understand their is more to racing than just opening the gates. I think Jim, Trace, Ted, Damion, and everyone else who is involved in making this happen should be given the benefit of a doubt they are doing this for the love of our sport. There is nothing easy about running a race facility because if it was it would have never been shut down in the first place. Negative attitudes do not help anything and I was always told if you can't say anything nice to keep your mouth shut. Just my opinion.

Its ump sanction for lates and mods. Ump doesnt run anything. They only set the rules, the track follows those rules.
