Kloos' tires were found to be ILLEGAL!!!!

Take away some downforce(Smaller & Narrower Bodies)and maybe the tires would last a little longer....HMM! Maybe you wouldn't need to put that BIG MILL under the hood, either.:)

You know, this is the one time in my life that I am glad to be a backmarker. Lord only knows what kind of chemical runoff from the surrounding fields is in the well water that I use to wash my tires. I guess if some day, somehow, by the grace of God, I start winning races, I had better buy bottled water to wash tires with. LOL. Now, don't crucify me, I am just kidding, I realize that this isn't the real problem here, but it kinda makes you wonder to what point do you need to worry about exactly what your tires are coming in contact with. Do they make a Brita filter for a pressure washer?

When the Gerstners tell their side of the story (after the apeal process) you might have a totally different opinion about this, and thats all I'm going to say.

Sorry. Still have the same opinion.

I really don't think Kloos' problem was washing tires. If it were me being accused (and all I had done was wash the tires with soap and water) I would have paid for further testing to prove it was only soap on the tires. And I would have published a copy of the lab report from DirtCar so everyone could see the results. You don't make a statement like they did, offer samples of the product (which is obviously in the trailer and probably being used at the track), and make reference to "Our Tire Program" if all your doing is washing.

You obviously just have a problem with him... move on! You have said your piece many times now..

I agree with KingEddy on what he has said, and no I didn't have a problem with Kloos before this, I liked watching him race, have rooted for him many times. The worse part is there are FAR TOO many out there doing the same thing as Kloos, yes there are plenty out there that aren't cheating in any way and are still capable of winning races, those are the true racers.

I realize that it probably wasn't just washing tires with soap and water. I was exaggerating as a joke. (By the way, it really ****s that you have to actually point that out these days) My question is what type of things will show up on that lab test. I know that in the past, it has been a widespread practice to clean tires with Simple Green or Castrol Super Clean, or some of the stuff that is marketed as tire cleaner. Will that stuff get a guy busted, or does it wash or evaporate off of the surface of the tire long before it hits the race track. It just seems that the whole "tire altering" rule is very vague. It would be nice if UMP would issue a statement saying just what is legal or illegal. Yes, I am a fan of the Kloos/Gerstner racing team so my opinions will probably be looked down upon in this thread, but I would like to think that they were doing something that they thought was perfectly legal, such as using one of these cleaners. If that is the case, it would be nice to let everyone know, so that nobody else gets caught doing something that they assume is ok.

I am just glad Kingedddy takes my tires home and washes them for me every week. Thanks again Kingeddy your the best tire washer in the country. Maybe you need to start your own bussiness as tire washer............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I see a new sponsor on the side of the 16h Chickenman tire washer.

Yes Simple Green, heavy soaps, Mean Green, all of the above ect ect ect will get you caught on a lab test. Yes there have been situations where guys did get DQed for doing so. I recommend using water. The brita thing on the pressure washer might be something to look into, it may be a new business venture :).

Prior to his getting caught cheating, I never have had a problem with Michael. Several times I have congratulated him on a win and talked to him in passing both in the stands and after the races. In fact just about every week at belleville last year, he would stop by our hauler on his way out of the pit gate and engage in a conversation with us. Now,after the lab test, yes...I have a problem with him.

As far as moving on???? Sorry pal, that just isn't going to happen. Not only for the mere pleasure it gives me in pizzing you off, but to keep tire cheating at the forefront and in everyones minds. As I have said earlier, I put to much into racing to have money taken away from the driver I sponsor by a cheater.

Hammerman's tires barely have enough rubber left on them to still be considered a tire, lol

maybe you didn't read this Mr pugh Is Hammerle still 1st in points at Belleville? Teams that don't cheat obviously can still do well

He is, but he has not won a feature yet, but he has made all the features and been finishing well to gain the points needed to be in first place. But he is not the subject of this post and does not need to dragged into this debate.

Why bring it up? You did not want him mentioned anyway.....
