Looking for a local track

well i dont even run their and i can say half the stl area just by threads that i have read on here and the stories i have heard from freinds that run there.i can tell ya this i dont run there and wouldnt donate one dime to them..i do know that corey his self hasnt run there this year either, his brother has...and doug i dont think the things that i was told and that have been posted on here are stories, they are facts.....

trust me if wente can run a track 24-7 there are many poeple that could if they really wanted to,he is not god and for sure isnt the only guy in the world to run a track and get rich off it...

Yes. To have survived as a promoter since the mid-80's (and over a decade at TCS), he is apparently doing many things well.

And we all know Doug is independent and has no vested interest in making Wente look good. LMAO

Before the season I talked to talked to him about qualifying to cut down on some of the carnage, he basically told me, I didn't know what the hell I was talking about, and people like to see wrecks..

Does he really think people like seeing features that take the better part of half an hour to run and have attrition rates of 60-70%? How about opening night this year when they had FOUR LMs finish the feature? People were really thrilled by that one.

I don't think the LM car counts are down. I think there's a grand UMP conspericy by the drivers to not race any time BP is at there track. I also think theres another conspericy to run all the features long when BP is in the house

I have raced in the area longer than ten years, and have never raced at TCS, I intend to run some of the sunday specials on the half in 05, and maybe even show up if I-55 rains out and they dont.

Averaging around 100 cars per night (and full fields of late models) looks good all by itself. I am merely pointing out what should be obvious to those looking at things from an un-biased perspective.

Still waiting on those 10 names..................................

I'm not talking about LM car counts at Granite. Anyone who was there opening night knows why only 4 cars finished that LM main--and why half the field never made it past the first lap.

Folks I am sorry I started this thread becaus ei am interested in getting a track and to get racing there to give you all another outlet in which to race, I really did not start it to bash other track and promoters, if you don't like someone keep it to that, I understand that if I ever do get a track I will see my name on here as well as one of the bad guys becuase I am sure that trying to run a track you make calls that are sometimes not very fun for all the folks involved but that is the way things go so please if you have info that might help me get a track going somewhere post away but if only to bash someone or prove that you have or have not gone to a track get another thread please I am really trying to make this happen but hate reading the bash post about other tracks I can not do anything to fix those tracks, Heck I dout in my frist few years I will make that big of an impact at any track I get.
