yes..racer94... I do think we see alot of things pretty much the same..but... I think we have to agree to disagree on what we call "TRAVELING"....
I went into Rusty Griffaw's website to see where he has been traveling: http://www.rustygriffaw.com ..... I saw where he went to Georgia on February 6 and to Mississippi on March 14...Poplar Bluff on March 20 (do not know where that is) and then the rest of his races have been in Illinois and Missouri ..... Tri-City, I-55, Fayette Co and Montgomery Co....He races at least two nights every weekend and has done very very well racing these race tracks....I commend Rusty on what he is doing.... he is wanting the UMP Title this year and he is racing his heart out to get it..........Goodluck Rusty..
Chad has raced in six states counting Illinois...(Kentucky , Tennesse, Missouri , Florida and Kansas)..... He is not going for points ...
I don't know where you stand on running the Special Events as compared to the weekly shows........but..........this year that is what Chad has chose to do... only once this season has he raced twice in one weekend... so you can't compare him to someone who is racing two, three times in a weekend..
So with the races I have seen (and I am probably Chad KInders Biggest fan and when hubby is not working we follow him to where ever he races including Florida) and checking the http://www.chadkinder.com site and making a phone call to the pit crew I got some stats:
He may not be high in UMP points but he has earned $21,500 racing six states, thirteen starts...and 4 wins.....
Now please people.... this is just between racer94. and me.. not trying start anything....we are discussing our opinions on how we see it
I feel that the two of us do see eye to eye.... I just want to know how you do feel over the running the big shows or going to the weekly events...
I feel that Chad and Rusty will race each other and trade wins back n forth and they will also have to take runner up to some of these other great drivers.
You go get em Rusty!!! My vote is on you for the UMP...
Just want to give credit where it is due... Kinder is doing what he is wanting to accomplish this year too.... and quite well might I add....
And Kermit .... you are right !!! the drivers don't give a pooh to what we think...they go do what they love to do and that is race against each other and totally give us a lot of enjoyment!!!!!
