It was Randy's decision no doubt. Pre maturely no doubt. Does he realize it takes years to get established? No doubt he has no idea how long it takes! Even with a contract for a couple years he wouldn't have probably seen a profit. But he would have been able to sell it and get out from under the place he is in. Now it's going to be tough unless someone steps up and buys it now.

I will NOT ask Randy for a refund cuz he needs ALL the money he can get for a lawyer. He will be broke after Jim gets done with him. You all know what goes around comes around. Casey Pearson gets screwed by Randy and now Jim Moon and its time someone does something about it!!!!
 
Its a shame....don't know this Randy but he must be a piece of Art.....the floating kind. Would be nice to see either someone who has the money or maybe our local tracks all toss enough into the bowl to make a Sunday nite race facility with a point system set up like the old days when st charles was up and running...a point system with a payout that would draw all of our top racers there and the rest will follow
 
I think Montgomery County would be better suited to running a few specials through the year. Modified specials, for both the A and B mods, a few LM shows, and some midget and sprint car shows.
 
Instead off going after a church,find out how much Randy wants for the property and post that. Maybe a Nascar star would buy it and turn the place around.It is a great track just needs someone with money and a good attitude to make it successful. Come on Kingeddy you could make this PLACE ROCK.
 
I don't know for sure. In 2012 purses were too high. I have no idea about the 2013 sprint shows. 2014 if beer was sold it may have helped make it over the top at least a couple nights. There were 1100 people that were in the grandstands 2 weeks ago. Had been around 8-900 previous. Car counts 40-50.

personally I feel sorry for randy he attempted to reopen the track and give it life.
but with a promoter like moon it fell apart unfortunately the post on Facebook about the rain out there was more comments and what shows now. moon runs the page of course he deleted it. randy was freaking out about the money because moon and Bridget were both blowing it. they had to pay for Bridget fly out here every weekend and fly back.
the most disturbing part is the message that was put on facebook the other day that was deleted shows jims true colors.
as some may know there used to be a full time office staff a young girl. I was one of the people that was able to see the messages that were sent to her from moon.
These included paying her sex, an 1099 through the race track. $$$$ asking her to come do his laundry $$$ that one. There is many many more! Then most disturbing though Is this man has children himself an sent messages about being in the hot tub waiting.
There has also the other girls have these issues before with jim. Personally I am embarrassed for randy as a business owner!
Personally being around them I think alot of you have been blindsided by Moon. He uses Randy as finale say when he doesn't want to piss ppl off. randy hadnto keep tabs on money when he noticed jim was blowing it! Dont forget jim signed checks to everyone!

This "snitches" post should be removed simply on its hate content.
 
Why delete it? This is just another possible side of the story people may not know. if people can post what they want about 1 person, then why not the other? Hate content? Really??

You cant pick up on the hate content on Jim Moon? And apparently you're ok with "Snitches".
 
This thread has been filled to the brim with hate on the other guy. so that's ok? Sounds like you are ok with bashing on people without knowing the whole story.
 
Big apple you apparently have a lot of information that is inaccurate. For instance, no track money was ever used for Bridget's expenses. This was her own money used to help support a dream of a man she loves, and a contract. Secondly, Jim or her have received no compensation for all the work they have done since last summer. Everyone at the track is a 1099 - called contract labor. As far as those so called texts I have seen many of them. It appears to be two consenting adults flirting. None indicated payment for sex. Also, those who know Jim know about his flirtatious behavior. BTW, in the past he has paid previous people to do his laundry. Does not have the time and hates to do it! Good for him to find people to do it! So let's call this what it is....track was given another opportunity but owner did not realize how much prior damage was done and the amount it would take to revitalize the track. Easy out in my opinion.

First of all I would not post something about someone (Jim) without proof that something actually occurred. If it did not happen to you posting something deragatory about someone like that on site could make a case for a liable suit in Court. Jim and Bridget are both great people and have put a lot of their own money, time, and effort into giving mid-Missouri a track to call home again. As far as the post being taken off of facebook, that was Randy's doing. He didn't like hearing how upset the racing community was with him. He told Trace and Alan to their faces after cancelling the show this last Saturday night that he didn't need race cars/drivers and if we didn't like what was happening to go somewhere else. If that doesn't show you Randy's true colors I don't know what will. That is my piece of mind and I don't care if any of you like it or not. [/BCOLOR]

I would think a moderator wouldnt rush to judgement until both sides of the story are told. as a moderator isnt it your job to moderate and not fuel the fire? As well as being staff for stlracing.com, you would think you were supposed to be subjective. So since you are staff, does your position above speak truth for the position as stlracing.com as a whole?
