Well like most of you in here (probably everybody in here really), I don't know the story. I am just not quick to judge or make assumptions. I am sure the truth will come out when its all settled. I have a feeling most of y'all will have a hard time apologizing with your foot in your mouth. I don't even know randy personally, but what I do know is that the few times I went to the track I saw not only him but most of his ENTIRE family running around trying to make sure everything was running properly. I know they were family because I spoke to a few of them coming through the gate. Nobody wants to talk about those sacrifices. They were there to help not collect a paycheck. i am sure his temper flared a few times, but from i have seen on this board, i cant blame him.[BCOLOR=rgb(249, 249, 249)] I was ecstatic to not have to drive to pevely or across the river to watch races. I am upset mmsp has closed as well. But I am not going to verbally tar and feather a guy I don't even know over some crap I have only heard online. Just because it is online doesn't make it true. If you was there when Randy canceled the races and seen how he treated some of the drivers you wouldnt be on here taking Randy's side. Like I said before Alan Westling is 17 and when a so called man talks to a teenager that way I would lose all respect I had for him which wasn't much as the truth has come out in what Randy did to Jim Moon and what he did to Casey Pearson!!
 
Im not even going to try to get any of my money back... I mean I would not have bought my UMP membership if I didn't plan on running here every week so im out that 120 being Fulton isn't under the UMP banner anymore...and then my track membership and what I paid in to run for points every night...guess that's racing though.... I was glad to see some BMODS come support Callaway this past week

I was glad to see the 71 Westling car at Pevely last Saturday. I hope they come back.
 
So GrooveRider13, I'm gonna ask the same question I did to Big Apple since He or She hasn't responded yet to my question, everyone wants to know who you are so why can't you put your real name at the end of your posts. Because appearently you are one sided and have everything figured out.
 
Everybody? You are the first and only one to ask. Besides, I don't feel it is pertinent. Also Amanda landrum likes to post peoples phone numbers and encourage people to call. Don't need her googling mine and being childish with it. And I am only 1 sided because I don't agree with 98% of this post that is only bashing someone that nobody has yet to hear what really happened... just because I have a more adult "don't rush to judgement" mentality, doesn't make me the enemy. Just makes me not agree with your uneducated outlook. Its that simple.

You still don't know the whole story even if you think you do. Otherwise you wouldn't just be concerned with peoples names. You are probably basing everything off what you heard from 1 guy. I am just going to sit back and wait for the truth to roll out and by my guess all of you will be mighty quiet afterwards. No business man turns down money or closes a working track that he is trying to sell because he doesn't see eye to eye with someone. More to the story and I am just dying to hear it.
 
Its been two weeks, if Randy was gonna come on here and tell his side, he would have. I really dont care what his side is, but would love if someone would buy it that really loves this sport and can make a go of it!
 
no new news to tell anyone i will only say i tried to help the track get going since i raced there the first yr so i worked there with my son trying to help get a track going that i thought could make a go at it there's always going to be complaints whether it's with workers, drivers, or fans it's just nature at work that i'll say again is this is not why i made the original post it was just a update no need for bashing we all know someone is to blame but we was not in the private conversations and at this point i don't have a clue, i do know the people there should recieve there money back and the workers also i will say these kids that worked thinking they was getting paid desirve their pay for hours worked. and yes i will tell you my name terry
 
First off I have no affiliation with MMSP, Randy or Jim Moon. I find it funny that everyone is bashing Randy for not coming on here and telling his side of the story, but Jim has not posted anything personally either telling his side either. Its all through big mouth Trace Westling. Which I will stick to the subject at hand and not get started on that subject. Did Randy make some mistakes? Yes I believe he did. I also think he was protecting his investment. I also think it was very easy for Jim to spend Randy's money for him without having much of his own skin in the game. Jim Moon made many mistakes also. I believe there is much more to the story than what is being told right now. Sit back and watch what happens next.

P.S. Ashley Huff have anything to add?????

I like all of these fine gentleman. I figured it out though fellas no need to get upset, I will answer all questions now. Casey Pearson I think is probably trying to rebuild his business or a new one hopefully since Mother Nature took his from him, sorry Casey. Jim Moon is probably (soaking tires JK!!!!)working hard on his business and focusing on life's problems at hand and moving on with life, and Randy Mattlock is back hard at work recouping all the money he has spent,( that being at the least $300,000) that's a pit pass for 8,571 weeks for free us racers complain about $35 lol!!!
I would venture to say that is more than most of our families homes are,and guess what he bought? A 1/4 mile whole in the dirt with some bright lights and metal benches and a place a family could come enjoy some free time together, and racers could cry I guess. It just so happen not to work out. But look at the bright side, 32 people have posted on this thread now if we all pool our funds together it's only $15,468.75 @-p . Oh yeah we r all still worried about a $35 dollar pass though. I bought a raceiver from MMSP for $125 never got it because I myself kept forgetting to ask for it guess they owe me now cuz I'm dumb right? Bought pit pass from quincy 2 weeks ago got rained out didn't get my money back neither did Jim moon we got a pass good for the month I guess they owe me too? I didn't make it back and the months up. There was a rain cloud that filled the sky when MMSP rained out maybe we should have parked outside? I bet all workers were mad if they heard all the racers complaining and were fed up, us stock car guys r hard to please that's for sure it will take a toll on a man. Great job to all involved with MMSP my family thanks u all, I will foot race anyone anytime there bring it we can race for $35 dollars winner take all lol!!!
