OT: Bush is an embarrassment - what a piece of crap

the state governor and mayor blame the government and the government blames the state governor and mayor.a big he said she said game.the truth of the matter is they both have faults, they both SCREWED UP big time!!!

.anyone would take a physical weather they were required to or not, just to know they had a clean bill of health.if not then they most likely got something to hide, usually drugs in the system.

So you presume that anyone who doesn't have a physical every year is likely hiding drug use. That seems to be something of a reach.

hmmm but others fact from news sources were not ACCURATE,so neither is any of that.so to me that hole post is nothing but toilet paper!!!!!!

Would it be single ply or double ply?

if you turn down a physical(especially mandatory)then yes more often then not you are hiding something, which again more often then not is drugs in the system..i said nothing about getting one every year, although most poeple do get one periodically, just for the simple fact of knowing you have a clean bill of health.not everyone gets one every year, but i can assure you that if your asked to take a physical and you turn it down, you just dont turn it down because,80% of the time they have something to hide.

and as far as the TP--any ply!

The point that I think I have been trying to make through this whole post is, USE YOUR COMMON SENSE PEOPLE.

If you would only apply the same common sense that you would use to buy a used car to how you look at some of the issues brought up with Bush.

If the motor is smoking and knocking, brakes are squeeling, tires worn, fenders dented, windshield broken, you are not gonna buy that car are you? Same thing with Bush. He's got a questionable past, some major squeaks that some people have thrown oil on and others more rust. I've never heard or seen anything from Bush were he has sworn off his cocaine use. If he was using it, theres a pretty good likelyhood he got caught with it. There is enough in doubt with his military record to make it questionable as well. And yes, I feel there is a high probability that some of his military records have been altered. Can I prove it? NO. Can the Bush supporters prove otherwise NO. Of all the things I've read on this thread, nothing has convinced me beyond any REASONABLE doubt. All I have read is opinions of so called experts.

It sure would be interesting to see and hear Bush testify under oath about these issues. I bet he would really trip on his tongue without a speech writer.

I look at the evidence, and I don't see anything "questionable" about his past. I see a guy who worked his butt off in the Guard, serving almost 2 years of active duty being trained as a pilot, then following that with 2 years of impeccable service. Then I see where his life took a different direction, he took a job with a political campaign, and embarked on a new career pursuing higher education in a prestigious business school.

But of course, prestigious Ivy League schools always recruit dopeheads, and our military has a bad reputation for allowing coke head drunks to keep flying our planes. Yeah, right. Do you even read what you're saying? Doesn't it ever strike you as ridiculous? Can't you see how flawed that is?

Due to the change in his circumstances, he wanted the Guard to compromise with him on where he finished his service, just the Guard does with many many other people when their lives begin to change. The Guard obliged, the same way they are doing with a person I personally know right now. And the person I know right now has no bigtime daddy pulling strings for him, no political clout, nothing, just needed to miss Guard for a few months and is now making up those days by taking a week off his full time job and making up the days missed. But of course, the Bush haters on here would say my friend is on drugs, missed Guard to avoid a drug test, and now is using his pull to get out of doing what everyone else in the Guard is expected to do.

I think the people who are coming to the conclusion that there is some kind of smoking gun in Bush's past need to wake up, get a reality check, and realize that if there was a smoking gun, it WOULD be found. Not just a smear campaign of speculation and innuendo created and perpetrated by his political enemies. Because all the so called "evidence" people keep pointing to is nothing but unsubstantiated rumor, put out by people who hate Bush to smear him, with no "smoking gun" to be found.

I agree, if you would apply the same common sense that you use buying a car, such as running a record check on it, test driving it, checking the oil, kicking the tires, looking over the engine, then you know what you're getting. But if you just say to a somebody you don't know, have no clue who they are or that they hate Chevy's and ask them "Hey, what about that Chevy Tahoe for sale over at Jack's Used Cars, what do you think of that?" and he tells you "Oh, that Tahoe, geeeeesssshhh, that thing's a piece of junk, driven by a crackhead, never serviced, he wrecked it four times, the tires are falling off, no way man, them Tahoes are all junk, don't buy no darn Chevy, you'll be sorry!" and you just buy his line without checking it out for yourself, then you are not using much common sense, are you?

I agree. Use your common sense. Look at the facts, instead of this "grand conspiracy" stuff you keep coming out with. I suppose even back then, they were orchestrating the entire system to get Bush elected, eh? Now there's a conspiracy! Forget Kennedy, this one is way beyond that. LOL

(And one more thing. I find the expert panels on Newshour truly worthy of the title "expert." Where are you "experts" who can show that Bush was arrested, had his records doctored, etc? You haven't ever put a single link up to any reputable site or evidence to prove the drug thing, the shirking Guard duty thing, nothing. I find it amusing that you decry people with impeccable reputations and credentials, and you think that simply calling them into question proves your point. Sorry, Eddy, it proves nothing other than the fact that you really haven't got anything other than a deep abiding hate for Bush, and will always let that cloud your judgement.)

Well I've looked the evidence and I do see it as questionable. I also question his character. Nothing you could say will convince me otherwise.
Put Bush under oath. That would convince me. Oh wait, he's lied to us more than once, guess being under oath wouldn't make any difference to him.

So it was George Bush changing the gas prices on the sign at Motomart.

This may surprise you but gas prices are not set or controlled by the president. Its called a "world economy".

Also, any use of reserves is just a short term fix.

Gore=now theres the answer.
didn't Gore invent the internet lmao

T,nie ,what are you trying to position yourself as the Karl Rove replacement.

You surly can't be so stupid as to really believe that B.S.

Great post Leftrounder. Racer94 and Kingeddy, there's always going to be finger pointing. A basic understanding of the responsibilities of local, state, and federal government would clear it up for you. Jr. high and high school textbooks might be a good source for you. People's growing dependency on the federal government is going to be the beginning of the end for having the option of making decisions for yourself.

Maybe you should read a post completely before you belittle the writers. It’s clear you are crediting me with the article written by the writer of the Wall Street Journal. Would that I could write that well. It looks like you are having trouble comprehending printed material. Maybe you could use some remedial reading classes. Sorry if I have to say things like this but you come on here with your sarcasm and you don’t even know me. In addition I would prefer to be insulted without being included in the afore mentioned group. They think nothing like I do. Questioning my knowledge about all of our government’s functions is way off base. I’d take a test with you anytime. And for your information, I want as little to do with any division of government as I can have!
I am glad you are aware of where we are headed.
