Yeah...I'm pretty proud of both the kids...I think Jake might have a decent shot at being in the top 10 this season. If Jess can keep her wheels on the car, she might have a chance too! lol As for me...I just wanna make it around the track in one piece! I'm out to have fun! Oh, and Star isn't the only one who hit my nice graphics. She got the drivers side and someone else got my passanger side. But sh*t happens...I'm sure it won't be the last bump and scrape I get!:D See ya Saturday!!

Hello, I'm new to this site.
I race Hornets at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO

This one down here is my dads car (#27). I was the owner last year of that Eclipse and won the points Championship last year with it at Springfield. He got his very first ever feature win on opening night in it (April 19th 2008).

Springfield will be having a race on Oct 10-11 called Octoberfast. It will pay $200 to the FWD's. I'm sure if some guys from Tri-City and other close tracks call about being interested in coming to it then they might up the money. I won the Octoberfast race last year in a 94 Probe that I later sold on Ebay.

Nice looking cars Terry!:cool: They would have to up that money to get cars from this area. Long drive with the high fuel prices. Good luck on the rest of the season.

I have a question. Will there be any big FWD races this season around your area? I would like to make it up there sometime if so.

Last season I made it to the big I80 Speedway 80 lapper. It was a pretty fun race. Me and some other guys are heading back up there this fall for it again.

Not sure yet...Some tracks in northern IL have had shows for as much as $1500 to win in the past.:cool:
 
I-55 is a sohc track, but the race last year paid around $300 and I think $50 a lap you lead. $50 just to start.
 
Before and after pictures with my new paint job! It was red/yellow and now its green and white. Tell me what you think. Hope it stops raining so i can race it this weekend.

Last season Springfield was suppose to have a $2000 to win 100 lapper, but it got canceled because of the car counts last season.

The 80 lapper that pays $5000 to win at I80 in Nebraska is an awesome one to go to. It's a 6 hours trip for me but I gotta go again, there's nothing like it.
