Presidential Race - Cast Your Vote

If you were impressed by Obama last night I would like to know by what? What issues do you support that he referred to yesterday in his infomercial. I would also like to raise the point, that a nation should not vote for a candidate due to his ability to deliver a speech; but on his ability to deliver on what he say in that speech. If Obama was a 65 year old white male with the same views would everybody still be voting for him? American’s that support Obama have forgot that America was built on being better than the other guy, competition. Distribution of wealth or socialism isn’t what our founding father meant for our country to become. It’s like saying that the guy the wins the race should give some of his points to the guy that finish fifteen so it’s fair. Why should the guy that goes home works on his car ever night to make it the best out there have to give up what he has worked hard for (EARNED). This kind of ideology doesn’t not lead to better products or services for a society it leads to mediocrity of the masses.

Leadership, and a firm grasp of the issues facing the country are the most important qualities that Obama offers.
John McCain has never been a leader, he has been in congress for 26 years and has never taken a leadership role on any meaningful issues.
His only issue is pork barrel spending and the record shows that he has been very busy over the years getting his share for Arizona as well.
He admits that he knows very little about economic issues and even just recently proclaimed that nothing was wrong with the economy.
He continues to support the same bush policy's that caused this economic mess, offering only bandaids to slow the bleeding while offering nothing to correct the problems.
Even his on party rejected him 8 years ago, so why would anyone want him now.

I think history shows that we revolted against the British empire over issues of freedom and equality. Our country wasn't founded by Ronald Reagan.
Taxation without representation is what started the revolution, and the idea that we could do it better than the British Monarchy (competition).
Phoenix, Bush didn’t cause the economic mess,(I’m not saying he did all the right things to prevent it or right the ship) the mess with sub prime lending is a direct result from Democratic beliefs that ever person deserves a home. Your beloved Bill Clinton was the cause of Freddie and Fannie’s problems, he pushed legislation to allow soft lending to under qualified buys. His plan was good in theory bad in practicality. Big economic pushes swing the economy in 6-8 years moves so we are still feeling the effect of Billy. I know it was Bush’s fault for the oil spike to you, but is it now to his credit that Oil is back down.

After reading only 3 pages of that Rolling Stone article, it amazes me that this man was even allowed to run for President. He quite possibly is worse than Bush. Bush is too stupid to know better. McCain knows better, he just doesn't care and does what he has to to get his way. That scares me. I'm going to email that link to my uncle.
Any one that believes anything written in that fish wrapper deserves just what they get!

Thank you for posting this! I love how the McCain supporters believe every thing about Obama that is bad, but say nothing that is bad about McCain is true. Come on people, live in the real world.

Also please in form the thread what makes you more informed person and your background in economics that qualifies you to even understand the marco standing in the country. I admit alot of fine writers have got there start at mags like Rolling Stone, and to blame a person for getting some information from Fox News isn't fair, because I'm sure you get your information for everwhere but foxs. (which means you are getting news from the left) The Rolling Stone is 5x more left than Fox is right.

Don't get me wrong I know McCain isn't perfect and doesn't have all the right answer much like Brock but he is a much better candidate for hard working people, on the other hand if you don't have a job and like tons of freebee at the expense of your neighbor than Obama is your man for the job.
Maybe just the people who work and don't have their hand out. I'm sure your a hard working law abiding citizen so doesn't it bother you at all that the money you work hard for is going to be given to someone who doesn't deserve it. People who are like you and me who can work but just find it nicer to stay home and rake in goverment spending on them.

Your not going to get a tax cut he is trying to get elected, socialism leads to higher taxes for everyone not just business but hes not going to say that now but there is no way around it. He say in is com. that your going to get a cut if you make under 200,000 a year but he told Joe he was going to see a increase and joe isn't bring in 200k a year.
