How about all of you whiners pool your money together and approach Don. Agree that your group will finance the loss for each Friday night. You will need about $5,000 each week if the attendance is close to what it has averaged on the last 2 REGULAR shows.

Yes they will and bc will be fine I bet there wasn't 20 regular bc fans at Granite last week n bc had a big car count in lm class and the grandstand was half empty since everyone knows so much why don't everyone that went to Granite put their names up?

Opting not to run when it doesn't make sense to do so, ensures that BC will be around to race another day. If it means having a floating schedule during the dog days of summer then so be it.
 
Eddy your right they could do that and raise admission to 20 buck so these few people that are apparently under house arrest and can do nothing but go to Belleville races have something to do . We don't agree on much eddy but I'm with you on this geez

Fri. 93/68 Sat. 96/70 Sun. 99/73 Wow and you guys race at night. We race this Sat. and Sun. at I55 in the middle of the day on the kart track and it's looking to be 96 on Saturday and 99 on Sunday and we have no fan count TO HELP WITH OUR BILLS. Kids racing for the love of the sport from 5 yrs old to 55 yrs. old in the dead of summer and your crying over missing a night race with another track running less than an hour from there? Hel* you got another track to go to why all the fuss? . Man I would kill to race at night. I don't care what you race and if it's night or day hot is hot. Now I don't usually agree with AARA but if it's more about making the track survive you might want to think twice about giving him hel* or just like a earlier post just keep pushing it in the ground and one day soon there will be a hotel sitting there not a race track. IF YOUR AFRAID OF THE HEAT YOU DON'T NEED TO BE OUT IN IT ANYWAY !! THE BIG BOYS WILL GO PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE...

People on house arrest, usually have to be in at ten, unless they have a job. So, I don't think people on house arrest are posting anything. People are posting thier opinions so that a bonehead move like this will help promoters understand why it hurts drivers when they spend the money they spend to race. Yes most racers are wealthy but they still have sponsors. It is a trickle effect. Sponsors can also have their drivers tart going to other tracks. They don't put their name on a car o sit in a garage and not be seen. And most ppl on here are weather watchers and it's high today is 94 at 3 pm till at most 6 pm. Then a big cool down. Now if it was because Thursday it was o hot to work the trck more people would have understood. So, with that said. There's mmp, which, if you have kids it cost them the same as an adult. Or ou can go to the Russ Wallace memorial at TTC, where you get more bang for your buck, just cross your fingers that your favorite starts on the front row.

And today the low for tonight is now in the 70's so why don't your dumb azz joining don for a bonehead dinner tonight in an air conditioned restaurant so your stupid azz don't get over heated..

It would be good business to quit running drivers off bielong clary ellison Kevin Cole they bring people to the track and that equals income !
 
As a fan, I'm not questioning a business decision, but I was planning on going to BC tonight to see my fav driver & I want it to be around for the years I have left, but will head to Tri. Just a bus decision, if your going to have a vacation w/the misses do on the day Tri has the Lucas guys in & King Eddy would have loved to seen the bullright show, great idea, but don't but it up against the Lucas guys & to the poster who said only 20 BC went to Tri last week he's dead wrong. There was atleast a dozen in the section I like to sit in as we were all routing for Dauderman to take out Weber in the Crates. Good job by the Undertaker!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Quick question if I might, Even though I am ok with BC being close today I was just wondering if the hall next store is ever open to the race fans to go cool down? I know sometimes there are events but I also know there is a back room that sometimes can be closed off from the event there. If not in use. Can't they let people walk over there if they get to hot? so what they miss a race they paid to get in. Poney39 says " It is a trickle effect" Are the food venders, gas truck, parts people, photo sales, and everyone else that makes money off the track ok with loosing money? Lenny I agree with you also but how would your business survive if you closed when ever you thought you needed to. I understand he risk loosing money but he's not making any by not being open. Always thought 2 tracks that close together racing on the same night was never going to work anyway. So what if one track closes the car count will go up at the other 2 tracks that stay open due to heat. That place is like the old St Charles Lucky to even be open. Don your doing the best you can and I know that just don't kill yourself or go broke trying to keep everyone happy, thats not going to happen. Heck walk away and put all you focus on Pevely and make that a better place to go.

It's interesting you mention to quit running drivers off like Brian Bielong. This is the guy that won the feature at Federated a couple of weeks ago, forgot to weigh his car and was DQ'd. For revenge he smashes Federated's transponder with a hammer. And you say it would be good business to quit running these guys off.

Well since you have posted that most racers are wealthy I know why all of your post make so much sense, ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDIN ME! How many racers on a local level are wealthy?
 
I think it was very undignified for Kevin to post on THIS thread promoting TCS... maybe dreaming of the day he will have Fridays all to himself.
