Keith,
I am even thinking about setting this year out cause this aint going to be good with the Doe Run boys and the Lambs on the same track cause there is bad blood among the 2 groups. They lost there track and they are trying to claim our territory. I believe it will probally be a circle track demolition.

Keith me and you get along pretty good and I understand your feelings but it all was started by RAMS bashing by your buddy Flame Warrior and not RAMS doing the bashing first. I would have never said anything until that. Just getting the story straight before signing off. But I understand and good luck on selling the truck.

I said I was going to stay out of this

I really tried to stay out of this, but it seems to me as there's a few things we need to get straightened out:

1. Our facility races mini stocks. True, the RAMS are mini stocks. However, we are not a RAMS only track. In other words, you do not have to be a RAMS member to race at our facility, however, if you are a RAMS member, you will receive RAMS points for races at our facility and be eligible for their year end awards..this is taken care of by the RAMS. We also have our own track points.
2. We have a set of rules that you must follow. They are not RAMS rules, they are Doe Run Raceway rules. If you compete with the RAMS in other places, you must meet their (RAMS) rules.
3. We have our own tech men. RAMS have theirs. Cars/trucks at our facility will be teched by OUR tech men and must meet OUR rules.
4. We have a protest rule in place. I have said this time and time again, IF YOU SUSPECT SOMEONE IS CHEATING OR USING ILLEGAL PARTS, put your money up and get them torn down.
5. As far as rough driving goes, we're simply not going to tolerate it. If the officials think you deserve a black flag, you'll get one.

The RAMS organization has undergone many positive changes the last few months. We have seen evidence of it time and time again. Crystal, LD and Shannon are doing a great job.

This post started simply as a way for Keith to advertise his truck. Let's get it back to that. Keith has raced at our facility from day one, however, it is his choice and his alone if he decides to sell his truck and move up to a sprint car. We hope Keith changes his mind and decides to participate with us but if he doesn't, we wish him luck with whatever he decides to do.

Sorry for the book, sorry if I've offended anyone. Lets put an end to this bickering and move on! See everyone Friday night, weather looks great. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions, you know how to reach me.

I've enjoyed racing at DDR for the last 5 years in the ministocks. Its a great place. I agree with you, the Rams elected officers have made a postive change for the good. I hope things work out for the Rams. They still have a fews issues to address, but I believe that will happen in time. I will be racing the truck at DDR until it sells. Looking forward to being there on Friday night.
See you all then.
Keith

"AMEN to DRR & Good Luck to all Friday night!"

THE END (unless you have a question on buying Keith's truck)! ;)

Competitive!

So the war starts Friday night does it.... LOL.... I'll be there...
I don't foresee a war Friday night. What I am looking forward to in the ministock races Friday night is: #1 - the GREAT car count...I think DRR could possibly see over 20 ministocks Friday night. #2 - The level of competition. There should be some very competitive races. #3 - Some good, clean racing between guys who love the sport.

I really hate it that some feel like there's gonna be such huge problems at DRR this year because guys can run there for RAMS points. Those who have decided to be a member of the RAMS in 2005 are just as good as drivers and people as those who aren't. No one person is better than the other because they are or aren't part of a particular organization. DRR will tech the cars, NOT the RAMS tech guys. They will just be able to collect both DRR track points and RAMS points...plain and simple.

So, if you're coming to see a war, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. That's not what these guys have in mind and I KNOW Bobby isn't going to allow that to happen. So, good luck to ALL Friday night. I hope opening night goes well for everyone. May the first one to the finish line win. :)

define war. to me it is the men and women who are fighting for the right for you to race wherever you want, whenever you want. this is stupid to be bickering over who said what, when. when it comes down to it does it really matter. this is just a hobby, not a way of financial means for you. do you think you will be talking to these same people ten years from now and will you even know what all this was about. if smurf can sleep at night for what he did whether it was right or wrong why can't you drop it. i bet that ten years from now when families are celebrating christmas and have a gold star on there tree to represent the person who gave up their life so you can complain freely will remember what they were doing ten years ago. how old are we
