Brandon, I'm sure I speak for Mel when I say, "Don't let the screendoor hit you on the a.s.s. on the way out!"

Yet another smart a** comment from Millsey !!

If it wasnt a train race, or a sand blast event, then the track conditions were ok. They have a fun place up there with people who make you feel welcome. I feel that to get the car count up, they should set the payout to be not much less than I-55, and the cars will come. Basing the payout on car count is not fair to the guy who does show up. Really guys if they pay $1,000, 800, 650, 500, 400, 350, 300, 250, 200, 150, 100 on back, or $150 on back to say 16th and then 100, they would have at least 16-20 cars every week. About the tires Hound, if UMP would drop the 10 and 30, I think more teams would race two nites a week, and more teams would move into and stay with Latemodel. I do not think a track in the extrended Stl area could make it well with latemodels without UMP. PB is far enough south to make it independantly, and seems to have from 14-20 latemodels most nites.

It is a shame that money is so important in this sport, but it is.

15 car field does pay 1000.00 to win I know thats on par with other tracks. Also Mell pays great for the points fund plus this year even have a chassis in the points fund for late models a mods and b mods or its 2000.00 for latemodels and a mods 1500.00 for b mods and 1000.00 for street stocks. You know i tried to look up what i55 pays but its not on there web site does anyone know?

Last year, I got knocked out at I-55. Got hit with a 6 pound mud ball that came off of either Dixon or Rats car.I was in the top roll in the bleachers and if it wasnt for the guy next to me, I would have went right over the top. But I still go every week cause its what I love. I was even taken by abulance from the track. They said it took me 20 minutes to come out of it.... I just wish i could have kept the mud ball and have it signed by the both drivers. there something that you dont see everyday.... lol....

also the insurence at the track thought I was going to sue,but you dont sue something that you love to do. Im just glad it was me and not a kid......

I went to MCS for the first time this year (Just got car finished) (6/5/04) and had a good time. The officials treated me right. The only thing I could ask for was a toilet closer to my car. After reading all the stuff on here the past couple of weeks I was thinking about just running at callaway. I think I will stay at MCS.
