I have met with Scott this weekend and the rules at Highland Speedway will not change. There will be NO triple disk clutches and there will be NO weight added to cars who "supposedly" have illegal cars. Scott said "If the Sportsman class wants tecked then tecked is what the Sportsman class is going to get!"
 
bbigcat75 thats bs if they was going to tech then why didnt they do it when jimmy cummins went out for the feature with money in hand? you alreadt know the answer to that now dont you? besides they are trying to give the illegal cars time to get legal thats why they didnt do it and you know it! but thanx for the heads up on the teching going to happen you just gave whoever is illiegal time and notification to get legal! as if they didnt already know!
 
stiill dont matter, caught them red handed and still nothing. All bark, no bite. See everybody at the Mt Vernon. Or im coming with a bert and 4-barrel. Hey Maynard, do i get a free-bee yet. Lenny, we can set a meeting all we want but it still wont make a difference. If he wants to make a statement he will pull there points. Untill then, i will not be back except for the Extreme series. Now lets drink and have fun cause thats what it is all about.
 
as i have stated before, i have no dog in this fight; however, i do have to agree with racing14,, this is all a big show to give the offenders ample time to get legal. then when they are teched, they will all stand back and say.."see, i am legal; what's all the big stink about"...it would be interesting to see how those specific cars run NOW....
 
The clutches aren't the problem,it's the big engines in front of them that are affecting this class the most.Especially at Highland.JMO:eek:

Has anybody been caught with these yet. From what i have been told no. But i guess that doesnt matter. If your running up front and winning you must be cheating. I guess a good triple disc makes everything on the car. I guess setup and having a good driver doesnt mean anything. The triple disc is the one driving the car. Last i checked, it was setup and a good car and driver, to make things work.

Maybe I am wrong.

It also helps to have the right connections to get things overlooked, or even get timely double features ran at the end of the year.

And like was stated above, triple disk is only a small advantage, hook that to the biggest motor = BIG ADVANTAGE.
 
OK boys now we are getting off toplc. This thread was not created to tear into any race program. The point of all of this was to bring awareness to anybody who would listen because the promoter had knowledge of cheating activity and did nothing. The two previos posts I ,Jim Ripperda, am personally asking the posters to remove. As I previosly mentioned we are not at odds with any other race team. In the end I am sad that it came to this......but what else could we do Scott? headrick im sending you a pm
 
To Team18m/18, look, i said once before that these guys can drive and have the best equipment. I will never say anything about that, these guys are good people and its just not them. Its just not 2 cars that have them. I know there are others cause i was told by our fearless promoter there was. I know a triple disc dont win races, but it dont hurt them at all. Im not calling out nobody that has them, just one person cause i want something done with this class before its to late. You know and I know both they will win races regardless. I liike these guys, good guys, help you when you need something, and the biggest one, they race you clean. Like i said, im not calling out 2 cars or anybody else who has them cause there are about 5 that shouldn't per the rules i know of, just our promoter to fix the problem.
 
I am not trying to start anything just stating a fact, And jrip196 I am not calling anybody out either.

my opionion the promotor needs to do something. Everybody can get on here complain and complain or give opionions, It all falls back to the promoter doing something about it.
