That's alittle drastic don't you think? Just choose not to go to their store if that is how you feel. I personally don't like Tony but I do shop Home Depot

I dont drink and I am not a builder,, but you dont say other drivers act like Tony does,, if Matt or any other driver acted that way I would do the same to them..

if you think what tony is doing is right that is fine but I have children and I dont think he should be a roll model for our children,
I am not saying you have to do anything all I think that something should be done with tony and his attitude and his driving,,someone could get hurt bad.
it is jmo and yes long live the queen whereever she maybe

If you honestly believe Tony is setting out to hurt someone or even tear up someone else's equipment, then maybe you need to grow a brain and realize that everything commentators say may not be the whole picture. This is racing, not golf, some times stuff is going to happen and people are going to wreck. It has always been that way and it always will be!!!!!!

By the way, maybe you should teach your kids about not chosing the "rich" and "famous" as role models anyway..... Does anybody remember OJ Simpson??? He was a role model for a whole generation and how did that turn out??? Maybe your kids role models should come right from their own home or community instead of from television or sports. JMO

Ohhhh - by the way. . . do you remember Harvick's actions last year?? I have never seen Tony act like that. Is he a good role model??

hmmmmm I am going on what I see not what commentator says, I have been around racing for over 35 years now. What he is doing is wrong and I am not the only one that has said that.
First of all my kids dont like tony and never have and the role model for my children is GOD and then there parents. they dont need someone rich or famous to look up too when they have that.

as i have said before it was jmo and everyone is intitled to their opinion...

I am new here and come on here and find someone bad mouthing someone else, I was told this as a great site, and I thought this was a racing site, not a site to put other race fans or their families down.

What about a good ole fashion public hanging? I'm sure we could find some old law that he broke that we could hang him for! If not, lets just hang him from his.....well, you know.....and see what happens!!!! LOL!

Sorry, just trying to lighten the conversation a bit.

***Edited content after reading it. Kinda stupid thing to say even about Tony.***

Now look what's happen! Tony Stewart has gotten another racing fan upset just by visiting this thread. Just another reason why he needs to go!

That may be true. . . . but, the boy can drive a race car. That's why I like him. I don't care if he blows monkeys or goats or whatever. Not my concern. He is a racer - not a role model. That is my point.

Welcome to stlracing.com Ms. T. I am sorry to hear you were led to believe this is a nice site where no one does any bashing. Whoever told you that must have been confused. You will find a whole lot of bad mouthing and bashing on here pretty much year round whether racing is in season or not.

Thank you for the welcome. There is more in life then bashing a fellow fan, if you need to bash, bash sadam or bin laden. Dont bash each other, you never know when you may need your fellow fan for something.
again Thank you for the welcome

Plain and simple. Tony is an arrogant idiot with an italian temper. Grow up Tony and maybe you'll earn some of your fans back. But not me.

Arrogant, Yes. Idiot, no. He knows what he is saying. He just does not care what the consiquences are. Sort of like you. A few words of advice "Be careful what you say when bringing up nationalilties." We italians are well aware of our tempers and are d*mn proud of them. Our tempers and our pride are one and the same.

Tony did not ask your kids to look up to him. And if you raised them to look up to you and "God" than it is a non-issue. Especially if they have already said that they don't look up to him. IT IS NOT HIS RESPONCIBILITY, HELLO, THEY'RE YOUR KIDS SO IT'S YOUR RESPONCIBILITY TO BE THEIR ROLL MODEL. I dont even agree with the role model ideal. Children should be allowed to be who they are not who you want them to be. My little brother loves tony stewart. My sister got his autograph and says he was really cool. No one is perfect, not even millionaire racecar drivers. And EVERYONE gets madd and mouths off or no one would be on this sight right now. I would like to see you keep your mouth shut after being nationally ridiculed. Jesus Christ im tried of the d*mn socialist communist in this country. LONG LIVE TONY STEWART.
