In any event, thanks for being an origin........... Oh, I guess original isn't the right word. I think you might be as dangerous as Tubby.

People are on here bashin Tubby cause hes and older driver, and your saying he can not drive, and that hes dangerous.................. But what about the guys that are young and cant hold a line and are dangerous?????????????? I don't see you on here bashing about them??????????????? :confused:
 
Wow! Doesnt everyone have a FIRST post? Isn't a persons first post just as valid as their subsequent posts?

Looks as if opinions are only valid when one agrees with them??? So much for seeing another persons point of view before pulling the trigger and spouting off.

And by the way, the word "LEGEND" might be a little over used on here. I don'y have an opinion on Tubby Black but I do feel as if comparing him to Dale Earnhardt is a bit of a stretch!
 
May I Say...

To the fans at SFCR he is our Legend. He has raced most of his years and has given alot back to the racing community. That is why Tubby is on the " Wall Of Fame " at the track. We love him !!!!!! LeaDonna
 
Tubby being a legend is irrelevant. I’m not at all backing up this assclown, tossinsalads or whatever his name is...whose hiding behind his nickname, BUT…I don’t see what Tubbys history has to do with his ability to drive or not. I mean do you still say that if he DOES get in the way eventually? My opinion remains…if he doesn’t bother the drivers and he doesn’t mind how he well he does or not…who the hell cares? How could anyone not think its cool that he still works on his car and comes out to the track EVERY Saturday? I just think it’s kind of ignorant to jump someone’s *** because “how dare you talk about THE LEGEND!” that’s silly. ANYONE…in ANY job or sport is not above wearing out their welcome…and NO ONE is above criticism. I personally enjoy watching Tubby…and I’ve NEVER heard a bad word from a real driver about him…so why not enjoy the fact that a 75 year old man has such an unbelievable passion for something he still does it and enjoys it the same as he did 55 years ago. This is another one of those posts that just makes me shake my head and wonder why…LOL

You know its ok for people to have opinions, And i'm sorry but if you say something bad about somebody people like, there going to get on here and bash ya, known fact. BUT, for you to get on here with that last post and put the things in it that you did, is just down right uncalled for................. Sorry but i'll be the first to say, when somebody gets on here mouthing on there first or second post and there is no name on it, well it dont say much for the person writing it............If you want people to listen to your opinions and give you alittle respect, then don't get valgur in your posts.

No, Tubby is not dangerous,reactions a little slower,yes,but that comes with age. There are alot of others that are more dangerous than Tubby,he knows his limits.

To whoever asked the question about how many of us have to face him on the track,well,I have to say my 20 yr. old son does and I haven't got a problem with it !! Why should you?

I have to agree,everyone has the right to an opinion,BUT, some need to engage the brain before putting thier mouths in gear.

It seems that as long as a select few agree with the post, it is an opinion. But if they don't, then it's bashing.(been there,done that) And good lord, we won't have that on here. The person didn't get vulgar until he was personally attacked. When you log on to a message board you have to take into consideration that not all people are going to like the person you foot the bills for or are just rooting for in the stands. Some of you need to lighten up a bit and not attack everyone that isn't a part of the sfcr click. It's always the same people that are taking these things too far and beyond what they were intended to be. If you don't like what they post, DON'T RESPOND TO IT. Because if you look at it from an outsiders view, you are really doing the same thing(bashing) out of anger from their post. And as far as hiding behind a screen name, who cares, it's called privacy. I sure as heck don't want anyone calling my house at 3 in the mourning just because they didn't like what I posted.
 
yes everyone is intitled to their own oppion. and i don't know why someone would call tubby a "danger" or any other thing earlyer a person said that what about the young rookies who can't hold a line, or what about the people that race the leader when they are going a lap down? are they not dangers? i guess not....i would be more worried about these people and Tubby cause Tubby can hold a line and if he hears or "feels" the leader coming up behind him he wont race him and will duck down and let them go.....Lisa way to say same to you LD....JB
 
In case anyone hasn't noticed, racing in general is a dangerous sport. Whether you're out on the track, the pits, or the stands anything could happen at any given moment. Tubby is doing just fine, the rookies are doing just fine, this message board... well that's another story. Every one needs to quit being so one sided about everything and let people express their opinion.

I find it refreshing that you aree a free thinker and had the insight to read all the posts and make an informed decision. Tubby Black aside, I respect your opinion and am glad to see that you could realize that I was only responding in defense to comments made against me.

The unfortunately, as the saying goes, opinions are like buttholes, everyone has them and they all think they don't stink.

My goal was to get people thinking for themselves and not following the pack.

So once again, thanks for your open-minded and free-thinking attitude and keep up the good work.:D
