Tubby Black

Casting the First Stone

DirtyDirl:

Obviously with a name like that I have no reason to questions the integrity of your child rearing skills, but as long as I'm on the topic I think that some parental control on your part may be required. I know you may not be familiar with it, its a new concept.

As far as my vocabularyor comments made, no vulgar or profane language was used. So that argument is null.

With all due respect, a bunch of hate is all I have encountered while posting to this site with the obvious exceptions.

Maybe if more of this energy was directed at productive things, like work, home, family, etc....We could all have more intelligent dialogue.

Peace, love, and cornbread.:D

Tater if you only knew

I shouldn't have to explain my name if you've ever attended a race.

Don't talk to me about parental control. Control Yourself

And for the last comment I work, attend school, have classes pertaining to work and my family.

Your intelligence and vocabulary stink!!!

Grow Up!!

First of all, Youre pretty smart, which makes you a smartass. I would personally like to ask you why youre so pessimistic? You've said nothing but negative things to people on here. Why? I think we can all tell you've had a sad childhood and that you grew up in a pessimistic household. You get on here and bad mouth people to drag them down to your level. You do this to make you feel better about who you are. By saying the negative things you say on here, it comforts you cause it makes you feel as if your not the only one who has suffered the things you have. You talk about doing more "productive" things, well you must not have much of a life or should I say "productive" life sense you get on here and just bad mouth people and make them feel like crap. I do pity you and I think maybe someday the negativity, immaturity, and cowardness will leave you. Highly unlikely, but there's always hope. My advice to you is actually say some nice things to people on here. Also, you may want to choose who youre talking bad about or mouthing carefully, cause they may find out who you are and come confront you about it. That's just some advice for you, I would honestly take it into consideration.:)

I can't be positive to someone who is always negative. Maybe if this person were to say a few nice things I would say some nice things to that person. :) I can't be nice to someone who thrives to bring people down. So, sorry Rkatekt.

Wow

Hey y'all,

I just moved to the area and thought I'd check this site out and WOW. I can't believe all this negativity. It's all about the racin so lets get back to it.

Tubby is a legend in his own right and nobody should be takin that away from him.

I just would like to git down to the real reason I'm hear and talk some racing. Whos with me?

Where are you from Poot? My sisters boyfriend has an ex-wife that is named Poot, he was in the mental hospital in Farmington for all kinds of crazy stuff, he thought he was the magician, Houdini. He also like to drive his lawn mower around the neighborhood in just his underwear. Are you that Poot?

WOW...this post finally did it...it’s officially the worst collection of posts I’ve ever seen. LOL a guy asks a simple valid question...everyone jumps his *** because he was criticizing a "legend"...a guy comes on to defend him...makes a valid point or two, but manages to come across as a total *** as he insults several people and ruins any chance at having any credibility. Now people are talking about coming on and HAVING to be nice in order to be a productive member of the board. While I don’t agree with coming on to be an ***..I don’t think someone should have to go out of their way to be nice either. Its fair to come on and speak your mind...if you disagree with every single post...fine...that’s fair...just don’t be an idiot about it. It’s a shame that people go on and talk and then create a new nick to pretend like someone else and hide behind that while they talk a bunch of **** on others…that’s cowardice. It’s also sad that there are a group of people who do nothing but stir **** up...never post unless it’s to say something rude. EVERYONE here knows who those people are...and we see them at the races. Maybe you don’t go or you hide well, but some of these people have been pointed out to me at the track and they really aren’t even worth the trouble of this post. Why cant people come in here and just talk some racing and be open minded enough to understand people have different opinions. No matter how great you think YOUR driver is...he’s not above criticism. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with a challenging conversation over a difference of opinion...but some people use absolutely no brains whatsoever when they post. So let’s just put this one to rest and talk about something remotely constructive. Like putting a dodgeball pit in the middle of the track so we could make up some teams and settle all of this once and for all. LMAO would be a nice way to solve some of the problems drivers may have between one another…a lot better than fighting about it. :)

anyone and everyone...the offenders know who they are, because thats what they do...its not really meant to be pointed at anyone in particular.

Frankly I don't care what you think, but my kid reads this and your sayings are disgusting. PLEASE clean it up. Your mouth is for the birds.

Frankly, dirtygirl, if you let your kids read this before you do, then that shows you don't have very good moral judgement. And honestly, if they watch television I'm sure they hear worse stuff than that.

Zac, coudn't agree more. Only problem was this guy WAS actually trying to talk racing. Some didn't like what he said so......BOOM, the guy's a jerk. I'll have to agree with the pot calling the kettle black post. These same people that were judgemental about his statement need to go back and look at some of THEIR post. Like the one about sportsman drivers purposely causing cautions to help out other drivers, or the one about Joey M. stopping on the back because he didn't get a good start, and the latest, the one about Tommy W. doing a bone head move of a slide job. At least they are very consistant about being inconsistant.

well i'm glad youre not talking about me cause i'm not meaning to bash anyone on here. i just wanna talk racing but it seems that there's more arguing and fighting and bashing on here than actual race talk. come on people let's get it together and talk racing. i will admit the post i posted about the pessimistic childhood or whatever was out of line. but really let's all talk racing and if we can't do that then don't talk at all.

that was part of my point, bigrightrear...i dont think there was ANYTHING wrong with the original post. i disagree with what hes saying, but he has every right and reason to ask that question. as much as we love tubby...hes not what he used to be. i mean its one thing if hes talking smack on tubby being on the wall of fame...thats where hiis legendary status comes into play...but evuating how he drives now should be based on how he drives now...not 55 years ago. it all goes back to what ive said 50 times...if the drivers he races dont have a problem...and he doesnt have a problem...why would any of us care? go tubby go! now if hes causing wrecks(as some of the young guys tend to do a LOT more often than tubby) then its a different story. the original poster had every right to ask what he asked...those that jumped his arse were out of line in my opinion. and it wasnt a big deal til ron white jr decided to come on running his ignorant mouth. the thing is...he was right to some extent and had he not said it like a dumbass he would have maybe gotten his point across because people might have actually listened to what he was saying then.

Zac
I appreciate your comments and I am sorry that I offended people with my question. I will admit that I don't make it to SFCR very often and I was just stating my observation the last time that I was there. I agree, if the other drivers don't complain then why should I. I grew up watching Tubby and I agree that at one time he was a dominate force and I do admire him for continuing to do something that he obviously loves to do.

Also, I know from experience that it takes alot of guts to get in a race car and roll onto the track at any age. If the other drivers don't complain, then let him race as long as he wants to.

Again, my question was not asked to offend others, I just wanted the opinion of those who attend the races at SFCR on a regular basis.

Thanks

bofus

Ain't nothing wrong with that. I don't see you doing anything wrong. Others just need to learn to control their emotions and quit spouting off about every little thing that pees them off and making a big deal out of nothing.

If you pay any attention to Tubby when he is racing you should know that he may not be the racer he was 25 years ago but he does hold his line and IS NOT a danger to any racer. If you want to talk about someone who is a danger, how about that 56 car. He is the one who I'm afarid will end up killing someone.

wow.. this post really went to extremes of emotions, bashing, name-calling,etc. etc. i have seen mr. black race several times, and, although he may not be as fast as he once was,due to eyesight,or reaction times??? i dunno... but i do know that his racing line is very smooth, straight, and predictable to someone who may be coming up behind him. i would not consider that dangerous. heck, i've seen younger guys who's racing lines look like an ekg graph!!! that's way more dangerous!! keep on doing what you love, tubby. you will know when to say when!! still waiting for the usac owner to tell us which is his car!
