So does that mean if the payout is not posted people won't show up.
The ones worried about payouts must not be able to drive a race car or not have enough since to set a car up to make the show

Where is your race car? Oh yeah..
For some guys who just love racing, the thought process is less "where do I go to make the most money?" but "what options do I have to go race and lose the least?"It happens every week
$30 pit pass
$40 race fuel
$$ to get to the track
beer $$
You lose money every week unless you know what your doing. If your worried about the payouts then sell your junk and then you won't have any worries
Do a head count in the pits, multiply that times pit passes, then add up the total amount of purse money the track has to pay out at the end of the night for all the classes. Then try and say "The track makes money off the driver's wallet." Pit passes don't even come close to covering the purse. Not even close. So all that money the drivers and crews shell out at the back gate goes right back to them, plus some of the front gate and some concession money on a weekly night. Tracks don't "profit" from the driver's wallet.B mods paid $50 to start when I ran them in 1999. It was much cheaper to run them then. I just don't understand how the cost of going to the track has more than doubled but the start money has not changed. I know you cant make money racing. I just think if it cost more to get through the gate it should pay more to start. Most guys running B Mods are trying to do it on a working mans budget. If people cant afford the weekly cost, they are not going to race every week. With pit passes being $30 and up, it doesn't even cover a driver and one pit guys way in. The race track should not profit from the drivers wallet. That is just wrong.
