What does UMP do for you?

Pall Mall just a suggestion since I see your a new member. If you click on a person's user name there is a option to block that person. It's a wonderful tool. I have a few idiots blocked and he's one. Just a suggestion.

I do not belive in blocking free speech and all that---but if you block f40 block me also while you are at it--JMO---if I pizz ya off GOOD!!!!
 
back to the original ??? weather the rules are good/fair/or krappy we all have to follow them--I know Sam will always listen to the racer--you just can not get in his face at a big event-----JMO (again)

Clearly they do enough to stay around
They may not be the best but they are not the worst
For my 125.00 ill get back a little over 3000.00 second weekend in January
And I am a small time local racer with no talent

Is there something we can do collectively to get him off this site, I love these forums but he hi-jacks every thread with complete nonesense..i am very confident in myself so i can let it in one ear and out the other but Jimmy i love ur site, im finding it harder and harder to look and see he post every other time someone speaks...and p.s. his insight is worthless....
 
Any sponsors they have or money received ultimately is paid by the racer and increases racing cost. For example UMP receives $26.50 for any LM tire sold by Hoosier. Unless UMP is 100percent efficient you the racer lose on the deal. Why aren't they 100 percent efficient...because the guys who own it and run it are paid big bucks. The days of doing it the right way like Bob Memmers did are over and the greedy f@@kers have taken over. UMP should be bidding out tires etc In stead of artificially increasing your costs.

In addition you have a bunch of corrupt assholes who play favorites and politics and don't apply the rules evenly. Many have been caught cheating tires and UMP sweeps it under the table.

Only thing that I would add is they have Insurance that from what I understand they don't pay until every other insurance is paid.. (track and personal) the points fund is a Joke.... (what does it cost to have to run for the point compared to what the points pay) Just do some quick math and you will see that real quick.... Yes they have a set of uniform rules..... (not in forced) But any sanction can do that ... and they charge tracks to sanction tracks I do believe

Strictly from the point of view of someone who has tried to explain local racing to non-racers, if I mention UMP, IMCA, USRA, etc., I've already lost them. But if I say NASCAR, they at least have some knowledge of what I'm talking about. Although there were many issues with their weekly sanction, the name recognition got fans through the front gate. And hopefully the product on the track brought them back.
 
But how much did it cost you to get that $3000 back Jim Moon? to finish that far up racing for points? Guarantee a lot more than $3000

For me just the insurance to pick up what mine won't, i domt really care about the pionts money because to receive any of that money especially around here with the caliber of drivers the amount of races and money tou would have to spend doesn't pay off . So i dont care about who the sanctions the tracks around there i just go to race and have fun. Besides that to me is what track promoter is the fairest and the easiest to talk to and get along with. Jmo

ask superman or clanton or schatz how much they paid to there championship money
 
All Tracks should have a meeting and invite Car Owners and Drivers and get there feedback.... and get a vote on it
