Would you support a Sunday night UMP track in this area?

I had a street stock roller, waiting for an engine when I hurt my back almost 15 years ago. Wound up selling the car in order to pay some bills.

On the other topic, there were plenty of people who thought the Double-O was great. I am one of them. Hope to have a couple of them next year. And for the record, I agree that the weekly races in all classes were better than when the cars were run on the 1/2 mile. But the MARS and WoOLM races on the 1/2 mile were fantastic!
 
And it was way cool whe the mod's ran on the 1/2..especially when they had the open mod class! Hammerle's yellow submarine flying around there..kickin butt!
 
I heard a rumor tonight that Fredericktown was going to go all UMP and start running late models and modifieds again. They were going to run on SUNDAY NIGHTS!!!! Stay tuned for the latest developments........

sunday night

me or my family wont run a sunday show,its always been family day,i get 6 days a week to do race stuff,but come sundays,family time,,,,,,
i just bought a l/m to run steel block at tcs this yr,but if they go ump,i cant aford to run with the big boys,so i guess ill sell it,,,,
i think with the rule changes last year,the car count went up realy good compared to the last sevrel years,
as for 1/2 mile,there has never been close racing on it,by the 3 rd lap,positions are locked in,and unless someone messes up or breakes,you know whos going to win
even when the big boys are in town,i stopped going to see them on half mile,i dont want to pay to see them going in circles,i want to see racing,

just my opinion
 
Same here chopperridder..my Sundays i work till 4..pick up my kids because wife works weekends..spend the rest of the day doing homework..spending time with the kids..going to the park..ect. Not to mention...i goto work at 4 in the morning Monday's. I pretty well knew this deal was going to happen...thats y im figurng running Godfrey..or selling out completely. I wish the track all the luck next year..and hope for some good racing.

i've seen probably 20 races on the 1/2 during weekly shows and never seen what i would call a good one. couple of the best were between walsh and seets a few years back in the mods. but, even then it was a 2 car show.

even the race babb won there this year was a snoozer. guys pulling of when they got to far behind. my .02 cents
