Brownstown thoughts!

Anyone have any thoughts of the show tonight at fayette co. Tonight?

Yes
I have never been there before but it was the most poorly run show I have ever been to.
It was out of control in the modified's with inconsistent calls and little or no consequences for causing a caution. The B-Main was sure a wreck fest which is common for B-Mains but this seemed worse than normal.

I'm not saying that I could do better because I'm not a promoter but there was definitely room for improvement

Why are you asking. you about to start some **** on here arent you. didnt like the program that was presented to you or what. there is something that is bothering you isnt there. get it out dont wait for some else to say something.

I guess some things never change Charlie screwing Bielong and having a horrible track to boot!! GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

charlie told us what to expect regarding track conditions,he was 100% right..i did not see any other race but from my view in the sportsman feature looks like some of my fellow racers forgot what the return spring is for on their carb..we all had to run on the same track in what was bacially a day race and needed to use some common sense..but,hey,we are race car drivers and common sense ain't in our vocabulary

i have to say there is alot of truth in this statement. seems like someone is 'baiting' someone else to say something. opinions are fine, and if you have one, express it. seems like an attempt to start crap and (appear)be innocent.

I just think it is sad that someone doesn't even wait for a post to comment on. Just ask a question that they know is going to start crap. If you don't like the place, why go? You mean to tell me you spend your hard-earned money on a race just to get dirt to put on here? LOL

Well, I don't mind commenting..! Track was a ONE grove on the bottom, right after hotlaps it was junk!with 18 cars all trying to get around each other. That is a disaster waiting to happen..AND it did. BUT I can see things haven't changed at a Depew track! Bad officiating at it's best! Yea, shame on me for wasting my money on thinking things might have changed, but I see they haven't. I won't make that mistake a second time! But, the bleachers were very nice!

Momma Drew

I agree with Momma Drew.
That track was horrible , the officiating was horrible .Bielong and Melton got screwed bad . They drove off the track telling Depew to stick it.WONT SEE THEM BACK and fireball didn't you see those big tractors setting in back of the track they use them for grading dirt . So how come they didn't do that during intermission instead of making the drivers run on an asphalt type track half the night and sliding all over the place tearing up their cars ? Do you see now why Charley Depew was kicked out of highland three years ago.

The track showed who the true drivers were last night. The race between Hancock and Evans was awesome! These people gave us a place to race when no one else in the area did and I for one am grateful! Now, let the wining continue?!

Shaw18, PLEASE just tell me how AWESOME the race between Hancock and Evans was. I saw hard racing and and over zealous Evans run up on the back of Hancocks rear and get stuck in Timmy's rear bumper and flattened his tire rightrear. The caution was for the crash so please tell me WHY Evans did not go to the rear for causing a yellow. Was it the old rule if you can't pass them take them out? Also the dispaly of the finger gester coming from Evans on the front straight was UNCALLED FOR, BAD move on Evans part. He did it right in front Charley Depew, but I guess he had dust in his eyes he couldn't see it!

To d.t. Fan & midget racer, why are you replying to this unless you two were there last night. Obviously you weren't so you should have nothing to do with this a-b conversation. Yes your right, i will give my opinion, is there a law in the u.s. That says you can't. You have no clue what i'm gonna say so don't "assume" what i'm gonna say.

mr moser, i WILL give my opinion, anytime i dam well feel like it, same as you, same as all out there; but, one thing i will not do, is start a thread with a chicken crap statement like what you did. doesnt matter if i was there or not; i am not commenting on the races, drivers',track, bleachers, food, officials or the management. i was commenting on how this subject got started. read it again if you dont understand it. thank you.

Sounds like your worried about what i'm gonna say. Ever heard of "free country", guess not huh! Sounds like you need to mind your own business. SO HOW IS THIS A SO CALLED "CHICKEN CRAP" STATEMENT, HUH? YOU NEED TO OPEN YOUR EYES A LITTLE AND READ MY POST, APPEARENTLY YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT. THE REPLIES IV'E GOTTEN ARE TRUE SO FAR ON HERE, WHEN I ASK FOR THOUGHTS THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M STARTING ANYTHING. ONCE AGAIN YOUR "ASSUMING". "THANK YOU"

me? worried about what you are gonna say? not in the least. you arent even on my radar screen. that is how much you bore me.

We have raced at tracks all over the midwest and i have never seen a track that has been run so poorly. They did absolutly no work on the track for the second day of racing, and i havent been to a track that doesnt do any work to the track at all. The pits were full of trash all over the ground and track officials were rude and inconsiderate. We will never race here again

You should know all about that.
