Ump Champ

Fine brother, then debate away!
If you don't understand what I'm saying it doesn't surprise me.
You seem rather self absorbed these days anyway.
Your opinions don't bother me...it's the way you EXPRESS them, ok? Personal slams, judging people you don't know, etc. etc. By the way, how did you make every show this year at I55, Mt. Vernon, and TCS? Don't they all race on Saturday night?
And before you pick apart my comments, be assured I won't reply.
Ya know what buddy.......whatever! Except for a few good souls that are left, this board pretty much suks anyway. To much trash talk, jealous ranting and raving, and my dad can beat up your dad crap. Who cares? If you want the competion to be equalized throughout, start a touring series where they have to race each other head to head at different tracks. Otherwise all this "debating" (ie trash talkin'), isn't worth even considering.

JMO

P.S. I'm not your enemy Todd, actually I was just trying to be a friend, and I too made a personal slam. I apoligize for the "jerk" comment, but not for how I feel.

call it like it is

You are a very closed mine person. You aren't able to listen to what others think.
Ed Dixion is a very good driver. I have a picture signed by Ed hanging on my wall.
But so is Rodney he has raced for many years and worked hard to get to the top.
Rodney has earned his championships just like any driver. As far as you and others commits on drivers he races against. The first championship he race on a weekly against Ump Champion Donnie Tudor, and Several other driver 7 of which were in the top 15 in points that year. Including Joe Morris ,Mt.Vernon Track champion last year. and I believe 5th in ump points last year. Jimmy Burwell
who has been in the top ten on point far severa years. Mike Hammerlee another top ten in points UMP. That same year he won the Godfrey Track Champion racing against and just edging out another good driver. I believe one of you I-55 Guys Kevin G.
So Rodney has raced against very good drivers just as Dixon has and many of the others. You have to right to not like him but he has earn his place and the repect that goes with it.
But not form someone like you cause you can't ever respect yourself or you would be the load mouth that you are.

If you had a true interest in racing and the true sport you woulldn't run your mouth off like you do and respect the talent of all driver and not just you
high and mighty thinking that only Pevely has good drivers.

Open you eyes and look at the true picture and not you closed mine opion.

As I believe the cowracer once said, "If you want a place where you can post your opinion and be guaranteed someone will disagree, then your in the right place."

Cant beat that for wisdom.

Um run another track...DUH! are you so stupid to see that it wasnt the wins at MT.Vernon that gave him the championship?
It was 12 feature wins at other tracks, top 5 finishes at almost every other night he raced. And yes Mt.vernon helped, but it was NOT the only reason. Besides guess what, the man won the championship, its over and it really doesnt matter, better luck next year boys!

Rodney is going to win,but...

It's not over, thay're still awarding points a couple weeks yet.

Rodney is 452 points ahead, so if Ed won 7 more features and Rod broke his arm today and couldn't race, Ed would still have a shot. About as slim as the Stl. Cardinals winning the pennant, but still a shot!

Maybe Ed, or Ed's fans, now wish he had raced those 8 more CofC races that Rodney raced. Seemes to me there is the difference.

Congrats to both, and good luck the rest of the year!

My 2 cents worth.....

Both drivers are fantastic drivers. Both very deserving of RESPECT for what they have done in the past and will do in the future. Congrats to Rodney on his UMP Championship. And Congrats on Dixon for his 2nd and every other top 100 drivers....
Or how about every driver that shows up each week to allow this to happen. One last thing...
CAN WE BE DONE WITH THIS YET??????
Good Luck to all today , tomarrow, and next year....

Lisa

Just in case you do not know, if Rodney quit racing today, and nver raced another day, he would still win the championship. All points for LMS are over Oct. 5th. That means Ed can get 4 nights of piont, before they are over, let say Ed wins all 4 nights and has a perfect, that is 78 points a night.60 for feature, 4 for heat race, 4 for fast time or winning dash, and 10 for being a member, then you times that by 4 nights, that is 312 points, then the only other place to get points is eldora. If Ed recieved a perfect there, we can add another 78 points to it, that is 390 points if Rodney did not race anymore. The way i see this is, yes its over.

I am not bashing by no means. But could someone name the 12 different tracks he has one at this year. Thanks in advance.

I do not remember if I can recall them all, but I'll try. Montogomery Co,Godfrey, Highland, Brownstown, Paducah, Benton, Mo., Fredricktown, Haubstat In, Mt. Vernon,. As soon as I remember the rest I'll let u know.

Top dog you know who I am and you know all the tracks we have watched Rodney run this year. Rodney is to be commended for his effort when you can plainly see the difference in the amount of money between Rodney and all the others that ran the SM circuit.

Id like to see Rodney have the same kind of sponsorship, a big rig, and brand new back up car. Then we would have an even playing field. Until then Rodney you keep winning UMP by way of Mt. Vernon.
