I sincerly hope that this time next year you all still have computers,electric,etc. and are able to tell me that I was wrong and not me telling you I told you so!!!
Luckily I don't have as much to loose in this as some of you, i.e. kids in school, car payments, high house payments, and my shop caters to the soap industry which is always strong,LOL no pun intended, and when people stop buying soap and tp we are truly @#$%ed!
I am concerned about my country and my rights more so than anything, neither one of these lying dogs are going to produce on even 10% of what they are promising. Have they ever in the past? Why start now?

With the AIG bailout, the GOVERNMENT BOUGHT up all the bad mortgages. So the government now OWNS the mortgages aka (your property). They know people can't pay so they can go in and foreclose. So with all due respect kingeddy, the government took control of private property. SOCIALISM at it's finest. Granted the republican party has been asleep at wheel but the democrats have been in control for the past two years and it's worst. If you could of taken the 700 billion bailout and took that money and distributed to every legitimate taxpayer (i think the amount was around $65,000 per person) don't you think that would jumpstart the economy. Smart people would pay on there mortgage (mortgage problem fixed), other would spend it (economic boost) sales tax from economic boost. Instead the government gives it to a select few buddies, doesn't fix a damn thing. They could care less about doing what's best for the country.

Also, obama doesn't tell you if this taxbreak under 250,000 is gross or net income. Makes a BIG difference on small buisnesses. King, owning a small buisness I would think you understand. I ask only one thing to watch if obama gets elected, (one thing) watch the UNEMPLOYMENT RATE. Small buisnesses won't be able to afford it w/o higher prices and the big corporations will get tired of paying the bills and move out of the country. Yes there is massive coporate greed, but have you ever gotten a job from a poor person?

With respect to King and everyone, you have your reasons for voting your way. Just please look for all the FACTS, think and don't believe the mainstream media to influence you.

So the failure of AIG, Fannie and Freddie is part of Obama's grand scheme? He has Bush and the republican congressmen who voted for the bailout in his socialistic hip pocket too? Sorry, but I do not see any of the bailouts as being part of Obama's platform, or a grand master plan that he conjured up.

And since you brought up the government owning "my property", what if I (or 35% of Americans) don't actually have a mortgage or were financed securely? You obviously are not aware that there are some people (the wealthy) who do not have mortgages. And just how much property does the government actually own or control with these bailouts? Are there actual leins on those mortgages now? And what government would be the lein holder, Chinese or American?

I think it's funny how the Republicans paint this picture that the nation will be lazy, fat and happy on government handouts if Obama get's elected, but if they get elected, we'll all be hard working Americans who can be proud.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have never seen this nation as anything other than good, decent hard working people trying make ends meet and better themselves. Regardless of who was the President. So I consider it an insult from the Republicans that they play on this image of fat and lazy Americans getting handouts. No matter who is in charge, we are not a lazy nation waiting on a government handout. Not by any means. And we don't need a Republican in charge to make us work.

I find it amusing that so many people spout off that "ever got a job from a poor person?" Incredible, corporate America has been given special treatment for 8 years and creates huge profits for the wealthiest 10% while unemployment rises, and people STILL believe these corporations are their savior.

No, I've never been employed by a poor person. But I don't see the wealthy people creating jobs, either, and that was the whole justification for giving them tax cuts in the first place.

Keep buying the Bull. But it ain't selling so well any more. Like somebody told me when I was young, you can sell people crap, but you won't sell it forever.

Chickenman, its called redistribution of wealth. He has been preaching it all along. Of course you will deny he ever said it. How about this KING, suppose you should give one or more of yoiur Chicken huts to somebody that does not have one of his own. That would be fair, right?

Obama has made more of an issue of it than anyone else.. Remember, he does not look like the presidents on the cash bills. He said it, no one else pointed it out.

Ok, thanks for making me reiterate my question. How is this re-distribution of wealth going to occur? What programs is Obama proposing that will do this? In order to have socialism, the government must own and control everything from production to distribution and services rendered. The government must also own and control all property. So how is Obama proposing to do this.

Redistribution of wealth is not what america's about. Most americans will come together and help there neighbor out when they deserve it.







George Bush has been in office for 7-1/2 years. The first six, the economy was fine.

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2-1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%

4) the DOW JONES hit a record high-- 14,000+

5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas,

Living large!...


But American's wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep-- we got 'CHANGE' all right.

In the PAST YEAR:

1)Consumer confidence has plummeted;

2)Gasoline is now over $4.00 a gallon & climbing!;

3)Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

4)Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 Trillion Dollars and

Prices are still dropping;

5)1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

6)As I write, THE DOW is probing another low $2.5 Trillion Dollars

Has Evaporated From Their Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds Investment

Portfolios!


YEP, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!...AND WE SURE GOT IT!!!!

NOW OBAMA, THE DEM'S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT--and the polls say

He's Gonna BE 'THE MAN' --

CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!....

JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???..

NAFTA, GATT period, nothing else, maybe the 2nd highest corporate tax in the world drove the jobs out but even that would not have happened without NAFTA and GATT
