Congratulation Shannon Babb on your $5000 win at Macon Speed, and secondly on your redemption to Bobby Pierce and his dirty driving (you should have won Belleville also). Hope his Pops had a few more spare cars at the shop, as I think Bobby has at least one more coming from Randy Korte (they...
Been around racing about 30 years, but most of you don't even read or were there to hear Randy Korte make his comments about the track. But know you all gang up on someone that they think don't have a clue. I have pitted for Dixon, Laycock, Collins, Steve Sheppard,,,,but I guess I don't know...
Most of you would not know good racing if the car landed in you lap, even Korte stated that the only place to run good was around the bottom. The only way that Korte got past Scot Weber was he Weber slipped up and Korte got past him.
I just wonder what you people are looking at when you see...
I just don't get what is up at I-55, such a nice facility but seem like they just don't understand a little more water would go a long way!!! But by the time the 13 late model field rolled out for their feature, there was so much dust you could hardly see the small field of cars. The track was...
That’s cool, been going to Pevely for a long time. I like the old days before they redid the dirt...Gundaker, Dixon and others blasting around the top and Mark Oller sneaking around the bottom. Any given night any of about 10 drivers could win…not that way now.
Who ask you anyway??? I have the right to post my opinion...just like you do. I don’t care who agrees or disagrees with my post, and there is no dig at the track crew...you said that not me.
They just need more water for great racing!!!
I was told Babb had already qualified starting on the pole for the race at Fairbury...the feature got rained out...this is the makeup date. He had thought about racing Pevely....but with the weather questionable....he rolled the dice and headed for Fairbury.
First of all let me clarify my back ground, I been going to have dirt track racing starting in 1976, I have been to over 200 race tracks…HAVE YOU??? Additionally I have Pitted for 3 or 4 top LM name drives...So I do understand racing surfaces.
Yes I-55 is smooth but so are asphalt tracks. Last...
Ray, Kenny hope you got to see the fine job Kurt did on the BC track tonight!!!!1
Please let us know if you are intending to put water on the track for The WOO/Pepsi Nationals. Hope you dont use the bust bowl method like last week. No water we will not attend...thank you. It is my...
Regardless how the $$$ workout, bills are not covered when it’s this hot. I have not missed one night of racing at BC, and can tell you there are not many people in the stands.
Look at I-55 Saturday night, there were about 3 times that amount of people in the stands. At $6 per adult, I’m sure...
The racers will race under almost any conditions; the fans will not set outside under covered grandstands in 100 plus degree heat. The pitgate revenue most times covers the racing pay out, but NO fans in the stands equals NO profit!!!
Why don’t you put your money up to keep the place...
I just got off the phone with ED, the Hovis motor is done. The car is at Hovis' as they are installing it right now. They plan on being at I-55 tomorrow.

Safety Observer
I would recommend Allied Racing Association add someone in the stands with a radio. There is a clear advantage to this; this would be more of a safety observer not a racing official. You can see fuel cap and fuel leaks, car body rubbing on outside tires, outside flat tires, and...
