Sure the cost of the materials is marginal. Even compared to the other costs involved in running a modified or late model the equipment to treat tires is not a lot. What you have to take into account is the average working class, weekend racer is not only stretched to the limit financially he is...
They must be right... It may be the biggest week of racing on the planet. Where else would you get a chance to see over 850 race cars in 7 days of nearly non stop action? Where else will you see 300 modifieds battle it out for a chance to run for a mere 2500 to win and your guaranteed to lose...
Dave you didn't run enough of the races to even know... besides I had very little control over what was teched especially at I55. I was very happy with the competition within the series. Ask the guys that ran it. I didn't hear a word from you when we were at I55 in fact I remember you thanking...

Wissota teams up with local engine builders to develop an affordable "concept engine" package. While it does not do much for the Ford guys it looks like a very affordable alternative to just relying on crate engines. While at first glance the 10 to 12 k price tag for...
Racing does not need UMP. They are only interested in milking the average racer to feed the few at the top. They need to reorganize from the top down. They need someone who actually knows something about a race car and understands what the average racer is going through.
Racing is suppose to be entertainment... I can't count how many times a great 2 and 3 wide race was interrupted by a caution only to become a single file glorified hot lap session.
How is that retaliation? the yellow car was spinning before the 00 car hit him. Looked like something broke on the yellow car and the 00 had no where to go.
The numbers don't lie... 2009- 79 cars for the Sportsman Fall Nationals... 2012-45 cars for the Sportsman Fall Nationals. You have to look at trends for instance in 2010 you had 85 different drivers receive points at I55 in the sportsman class... so far in 2013 you have 46 that is nearly a 46%...
It won't ever happen... The sportsman class as we know it is going to die. My guess is UMP is hoping that it just withers away. Just look at the car counts... even at I55. JMO
If your referring to the time your dad took out CJ Simpson a few years ago... that wasn't on a restart and CJ didn't brake check him... Different situation. I'm fairly consistent, if you brake check on a restart you deserve what you get.
No what's really sad is the "moonman" had everything he got coming and then some. The spin in turn 4 was his own fault... you could see his car come off the bars when he brake checked at the apex of the turn. You brake check you get turned... no other way to put. He intentionally flipped Brent...
Tracy, I've been around racing for along time and had more than a few "heated" moments. I never claimed to be perfect but I've never said anything I didn't mean. Dambacher Trucking was the sponsor of this race... Dambacher Trucking is a sponsor of Frankie Martin. Whether you like it or not your...
To even insinuate that you would consider pulling a sponsorship over one bad call is not only poor sportsmanship but shows a complete lack of integrity... I know for a fact there are people that have invested a great deal into Belle-Clair Speedway and those people would never expect special...
The "MoonMan" is the "Wizard of Oz" he is nothing more than a snake oil salesman. He doesn't care if anyone knows if he is juicing his tires, he is a tire prep dealer, has been for awhile. Why did he out Feger? Think about it for just a second... Feger just beat some of the best drivers in the...
