07-08 Blues thread

I am not sure about Hanno's talent. They should have given him the bulk of the starts and see what he has. Wasting Manny in a lost season is dumb. I fear that next season Manny will go down for a long stretch and Toivonen will stink it up. Then we are stuck.

Damn, another heartbreaker. Toivenen looked horrible. I say call up Ben Bishop from Peoria and let the kid start the last 3 games. The only good thing about this slide is we have a good chance at the #1 overall draft pick in a very deep draft. I wanted to see Janssen pound on TooToo.

If you remember though Johnson almost didnt sign. So even if we get a good pick it does not mean they will come. Cant blame the goalie on this one. The Blues stopped playing their game after the 1st. They should know you cant coast through any game, theyre supposed to be professionals. Just like racing if you dont stay on the wheel your not going to win.

Well at least the Blues went out with a bang. Two wins, Walt picks up 500 career goals and seven fights in the last two games. If we get a good player that can help us next year with the #1 pick, next year should be markedly better. Now if the rain stops, I can concentrate on the races every Saturday night.:D

Yep its that time. Time to go eat dirt. One more thing I have to go down for seat relocation day tomorow, Last time into the city for a while.

What a crock the lottery draft thing was. We got number 4 and thats were we would have been had they not had the lottery.

Yeah, all the drama for nothing. Tampa will undoubtly take Stamkos with the #1 pick but it will be interesting to see what J.D. will do with our pick. Alot of good d-men in this draft but we need a kid that can score.

I agree. I didn't even understand the stupid thing anyways. It just seemed to set up. If they didn't have the lottery every team would have been in the same spot, so what was the point?
